"I recently moved to Gaithersburg from another city and stayed at Studio 6 Extended Stay Gaithersburg South. I had initially planned to stay for only a few days until I could move into my new apartment, but due to some unexpected and uncertain circumstances, I ended up extending my stay for over a month. Throughout my time there, I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful. The amenities were also very convenient, especially having a kitchen in the room and access to laundry facilities, which made a huge difference during such a long stay. Studio 6 was my first home in this new city, and it made my transition to Gaithersburg much easier and more comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and am very grateful to the wonderful staff for making my stay such a positive experience!"

"The location is perfect...close to I-70 and 270. There are many retail options close by. I was traveling with my dog. Plenty of green space for walking, and I felt very safe, even at night. The property has a small patio area for enjoying the outdoors, but it could use sprucing up. The breakfast was very good with many options. Rooms are small but adequate for a night. Coffee and tea with baked cookies available 24/7. I would stay here again."

"It was clean and generally comfortable, but The breakfast was not good: very limited options. There were 2 bins of cereal, one of which had a mixture of fruity pebbles, captain crunch, lucky charms, and probably a couple other random cereals in it. Like they just dumped in whatever… there were packets of instant oatmeal that were solidified."

"The staff was welcoming and helpful. Plenty of parking. Swimming pool was clean and inviting. Room was clean, mattress comfortable, fully stocked with toiletries and such. Great breakfast on Saturday. Lovely! On the less positive side, the sofa in room 206 had a central sagging problem and should be repaired or replaced, and the Sunday breakfast service was understaffed. One server and one cook were trying to manage a full dining room alone. I hope it was just a glitch, but the manager or other staff should be trained to jump in during times like these. An additional person to refill the coffee urns, bus tables, and handle the payments would have helped greatly. We waited 20 minutes just trying to place our order then gave up."

"Pros- close to activities, cute home, large outdoor area, supplied coffee & variety of shower soaps. Great water pressure in shower. Fire pit was nice, need to take kindling. Bathrobes provided. Cons- stairs are treacherous. Railing is not attached properly. Weeds are taking over property. Walkway is hard to walk on. AC unit works but VERY loud right beside bed. We were only allowed 1 towel & 1 washcloth for 3 night stay. I asked for more, was told no. Had to sweep patio and clean outdoor table before using. Could use more shelves, small table in shower & bedroom. Plenty of spoons & forks, but, only 2 knives. Maybe someone stole some??? Nice for 2 people, but, would be very tight for 4."
