"After a rocky start with our booking through Expedia, we found this motel to be a very good place to stay. The room was basic but very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It appeared to have been recently refreshed, with a new fridge, kettle, and iron. Snacks and drinks were available for purchase, and the complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits were of good quality. The grounds and gardens were well-maintained. The motel is conveniently located just off the highway, close to the Mt Pleasant Shopping Centre and tavern. While there was some highway noise, it was not significant enough to detract from our stay. Although the office was closed when we arrived, a quick phone call to the owners provided access to a lockbox and our room key. Payment was completed later without any issues, and the process was smooth and straightforward. A notice in our room encouraged guests to book directly with the motel rather than through third-party booking platforms, which retain a portion of the booking fee. Based on our experience, I would recommend doing so. Although our contact with the owner-operators was minimal, all interactions were professional, friendly, and helpful. Overall, this was a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located motel that represented good value for money."

"This was a fantastic retreat. I was unsure what to expect but found it was better than I expected, somehow. As a family with young kids, my two just loved if from the moment we arrived. The cabin had toys and fun items (& chocolate) as well as having an outdoor play space and a creek to go exploring. But with undercover parking, outdoor fire pit, bbq on porch, the accommodation was just fantastic. Couldn't be happier with our stay"
