Overall a good place to stay in the Mt Vernon area. Breakfast is nothing fancy but is good enough for a quick eat and run. Rooms comfortable and clean and A/C is very good! Only complaint is the smell of the disinfectant cleaner that is used in the rooms as it was overpowering.

Fantastic

No frills but clean, tv bigger than some of the more expensive choices, comfortable bed, will stay again if in the area. Frint desk service was friendly, easy, and fast for check in. Parking lot clean as well and there is tractor-trailer parking in the back which is awesome and hard to find.

Location and comfort for the win

This is a very comfortable and secure place to stay. I checked in about 9:30 in the evening and the reception staff put me in a downstairs room close to the office. That is perfect for an old lady traveling alone. I love the comfy bed and soft pillows. Not my first time to stay here. I love to eat at the Huddle House next door.

I wanted a ground level room ant there was literally 3-4 rooms occupied but they put me on the second floor because I booked expedia and that was the rooms they had available. It was clean and everything worked . Everything was functional and it smelled clean. The parking lot was well lighted and very convenient to go in to town or to the Highway.

I've been staying here once about every two months since 2005. I deliver to Mnt. Vernon and Sroggins regularly. I've never had any problems. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The renovations are great. Me and coworkers are thankful for the truck parking in the back and restaurants in walking distance. The security cameras are a bonus.

The staff was great. The room was ok. The Tv remote didn’t work, and there were no controls on tv to work volume, or anything. There was something black on the tub, so, couldn’t use tub, except to shower.

Just awful!

Where do I begin? The stay was awful! The only positive thing is the location, and the friendliness of the check-in clerk. Otherwise it was just terrible. The “non-smoking” room smelled of old stale smoke. The room was dirty. There was a partial opened package on the floor in the bathroom. The towels were stained, as was the chair. There was barely a sliver of soap available to shower with. The bed was so hard, the floor would have been better. I have a serious backache from sleeping on it. And I am not elderly, or a normal complainer. There wasn’t enough covering on the bed, either. There were bugs crawling around on the ceiling above the light. There was bird poop all around the outside door. I could go on. The only reason I gave a one star review is because zero wasn’t available.
