"Excellent water pressure in the shower! We had a little trouble figuring out which chalet was ours when we arrived after dark, but soon found the signs on each building saying which numbers they were, upstairs and down. We really appreciated that the heaters worked fast."

"The chalet was modern, spacious and tidy. Was a bit cold when we arrived but didn't take too long to warm up. Lovely rural outlook and we got a beautiful sunrise. Missing was laundry facilities although there is a drying room provided should you have wet items."
Chalet 6 (1 Bed) Pudding Hill

"Accommodation wasn't as clean as it could be - there were a lot of dead flies on the floor and window sill. Communication was good. Location was okay - views weren't as good as expecting and there were no facilities on offer at Lodge - everything was closed up. Set up pretty basic in chalet. Kitchen is more a kitchenette. Only one small pot for cooking. No tea and basically no coffee - teaspoon or so left and it was dry and stuck to bottom of container. This was disappointing given no shops nearby. No where to hang/put clothing. Feel it was a bit lacking for cost. But handy to Mt Hutt ski field and some good places for tramping/day walks/exploring the area."
