This cabin was a great getaway for our family. Impeccably clean and the host even had some supplies at the ready which came in handy when I realized I left our toothpaste at home.
It's super convenient to Raystown Lake.
We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
Just a really nice, peaceful place to unwind from the bustle of the city. The cabin is very clean with all the things you need to feel right at home in the woods. It definitely allows for the ability to be secluded in nature. We enjoyed the firepit with Smores and hotdogs. I enjoyed a walk along the roads leading to the German Valley. A must-do is to visit Hawn's Overlook at Raystown Lake. What an amazing view! Bring the family and enjoy Pennsylvania at its best.
I was in town for a visit to the East Broad Top railroad and didn't want to stay in a typical hotel. The Blacklog cabin was great. Plenty of space, clean, in a quiet area, lots of amenities, and very close to the EBT (only 10 minute drive). Communication was also great; very responsive and friendly.
Amazing host! The cabin was spacious, cozy, and everything and more we had hoped for. We wanted somewhere nestled in the forest away from other houses and people. This was perfect! Very clean, very welcoming. We will definitely return to experience more of Raystown Lake and state parks in the summer.
This was the perfect for my impromptu weekend in the mountains. The cabin was amazing. We just had to take a short scenic drive down 522 to get to many adventures. We will definitely be booking again next year!
