The noise of trail bikes during the day & hoons doing wheelies & burnouts during the night spoiled the serenity that we expected here!

Very disappointed with the stay we had here, the house is outdated and for the price you pay you’d expect a lot more. The bed was very uncomfortable, the cutlery and pans were dirty and needed rewashing, the fireplace was a pain to start and the spa bath didn’t even work. We wanted to use the bbq but it looked like it hadn’t been started in years, the house is connected to another house so we heard what our neighbour were doing for most of the night, the wifi wasn’t even working or not strong enough to reach our room. The only thing I’ll say they had going for them was the view which was partially blocked.

Hi Anonymous. We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. We apologise that some of the kitchenware was not checked and have addressed this with housekeeping. The other items are all in working order. The fireplace instructions are available in the villa as are our on-call staff to assist with any difficulties you encounter with any of our property facilities. The spa does work, is seems you just did not depress the on button in far enough, or hold long enough for the motor to engage. Wifi is available but does need to be reset from time to time, something we also could have assisted you with had to contacted us at the time - our contact number is given to all guests.

Views are stunning. Quiet snd peaceful comfortable and clean. Easy trip to vineyards and cafes.. restaurants! Could do with small upgrade but overall a delightful stay in the Hunter Valley.

The view was great. The quality of the room was poor. There was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom plumbing and the decor could do with a serious facelift. The noise from neighboring villas was also very loud. We left a day early.

Hi Mark. We're sorry you experienced a plumbing issue during your stay. It was discovered to be some grey water sitting in the pipe which has now been cleared. We do have a 24 hour service which could have attended to this at the time, so it is a shame you did not reach out during your stay. The property is now under new ownership and the new owners will be updating many of the room's amenities in the near future.

Great views. Well designed for privacy. Nice spa. Good size bathroom. Bitten by mossies in bed throughout the night with no windows or doors open.

Had an enjoyable weekend getaway celebrating my partner's birthday. The view outside the property is absolutely stunning. We had a spa jacuzzi overlooking the view from the window, it was rather romantic highly recommend for couple. The host was very friendly and helpful, he left us a bottle of milk knowing that we would missed our dinner while rushing the drive from sydney. Its really sweet of him. Overall, we had a blast during the stay in bimbadeen estate, would definitely come back another time.

We had a fabulous view from our room. The owner put the air conditioning on before we arrived which was very welcome on a 39 degrees day.

A great couples retreat, unfortunately our trip did not go exactly as planned but through no fault of this establishment. A trip cut short through unexpected issues. Would recommend this place as a nice relaxing location for a romantic weekend or longer!

Tranquility at it's best
An absolutely perfect 2 nights which exceeded all expectations. Situated on top of a hill Bimbadeen Estate had the most incredible views of the valley and so very peaceful.Ray was the most perfect host. We will definitely be returning to Bimbadeen our home away from home.

This large studio style property was very good; comfortable bed; kitchenette with sink, fridge & microwave; comfortable sitting area with couch and roomy dining space. Good size bathroom with spa bath and separate shower; spacious balcony with amazing views. We were in Unit 5 so our comments relate to this room. Drawbacks: the wardrobe is very small and there is no drawer space so difficult if staying for more than a couple of nights. Mosquitoes were able to access the room through the bathroom fan so we still bear the scars.

A fabulous location with breathtaking views. Very comfortable bed and plentiful breakfast basket provided. The room (we stayed in number 5) could do with some minor repairs and updates but overall a great place to stay with genuinely warm hospitality from the hosts.

Great view from our suite and it was very quiet. The breakfast hamper supplied was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. It was only a ten minute drive into Cessnock and to the main roads where most of the cellar doors were.

The room is reasonably good. However, there is no restaurant near by and it will take at least 15 minutes drive from the place. As it is top of mountain, so, its risky to drive at night. If you are carrying your lunch and dinner with you and if you are just gonna be there for relax, then its a right place for you.

Perfect stay at the Hunter
The estate sits up high on a hill and has the most magnificent views of the valley below. The room is so cosy with awesome views from the lounge area AND the spa bath! The gas logfire heater added to the atmosphere. Ray, the owner, was very welcoming and helped us plan our stay which ended up being seamless and perfect. He made us up a beautiful cheese platter with his own homemade olives, olive oil, pate and tapenade which was a great way to finish our day of wine tasting. Thanks Ray!

Beautiful views, great host, romantic stay.
Ray is a wonderful host, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He even called after our departure to let us know about some items we left behind and how we can get them back easily. The room has stunning views and is perfectly set up for a romantic stay with the gas fireplace and large jet tub. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful Location
The location of this hotel is outstanding with magnificent views. It is a comfortable drive to all areas of the Hunter wine country. Molines restaurant is a short one kilomètre drive from Bimbadeen. The units are comfortable and spacious. The breakfast basket is useful given the distance from other eateries. The owner, Ray, is helpful and available to answer questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as we are are lovers of quiet, restful accommodation.

Great stay, awesome views and an amusing host.
A wonderful place to stay perched on top of Mt View overlooking Cessnock. The rooms are clean and Ray's complimentary breakfast basket is perfect for the following morning morning - the spa bath is also relaxing over a glass of red.
