I cannot believe Hotels.com even lists this facility- stacks of old mattresses in parking lot, curtains literally hanging in shreds- 99% vacant as in condemned and I paid hotels.com and had to rent another place to stay

Check in was a breeze and staff was very friendly and helpful. As we entered our room we thought the scent was fresh smelling and at first glance everything appeared in great condition. Upon closer inspection there were beetles (cannot verify if they were roaches or not) of various sizes hidden throughout the room; under the bathroom counter, under the desk, we pushed the recliner back to the wall and there were more. Let me clarify that they were all dead so with a more thorough vacuuming this wouldnt have been an issue. We didnt see a single live bug in our room the entire stay. The bed was equipped with 4 pillows, a flat sheet and fitted sheet, the box spring also had a fitted sheet on it. It was clear that it had been some time since the box spring cover was changed; visibly dirty and had a nickle-sized stain of what appeared to be chew spit on it. We then pulled back the flat sheet and the fitted sheet appeared to be clean but there were lots of human hairs and grass clippings when we looked closer So we gathered that the flat sheet and pillow cases were all that were changed possibly? We covered the bed back up, went and bought our own sheets and pillows as we were going to be sleeping there for 6 nights and called it good. The bathroom was clean, same with the towels, and the water was nice and hot. The pool was also clean, just slightly cloudy (I think from sunblock and direct sunlight) we swam quite a bit and enjoyed that part of the stay during the 100 degree days.

We had a good short stay here, no big complaints. Obviously don't expect frills for the price. Service was great and accommodating for our rather frequent changing needs (oh travel delays). Housekeeping seemed to be a bit spotty despite leaving the sign out requesting it.

Needs new mattress

The bed mattress was in bad need of replacement. I only saw one employee; the one that checked us in. He was very friendly. He said the restaurant would be opening in about two weeks and that they were doing some upgrades.

Disappointing

Definitely an older, lower end place to stay--which isn't necessarily a deal breaker. But, terribly outdated technologies, lacking overall cleanliness, unfortunate plumbing (toilet repeatedly broken and nasty water backing up into the bathtub), broken down mattresses... disappointing. The staff was nice enough and doing what they can, but this multi-night stay was not great and uncomfortable. Ended up bailing on final night (they don't do refunds) in order to stay somewhere more comfortable. Choose to stay here due to proximity to hospital.

Hotel Needs Work

I would give this hotel a lower rating if it weren't for the friendliness and promptness of the staff in fixing our issues. This hotel is old and in poor condition. A sign stated they were in the process of remodelng. The lobby is only open from 9 am until 7 pm. If you need anything outside of those times you have to call a number for assistance. The first room we were in reeked of stale cigarette/cigar smoke. The smell was so bad it was hard to sleep. After we returned from our outing the next day, I spoke to the gentleman at the front desk. He knew whic room we were talking about. He moved us to another room. We had issues with the keycard reader but it was resolved by changing the batteries in the door. The staff we had interactions with were very nice and apologetic for the issues we had or not being able to respond immediately due to being the only person available. This hotel needs serious work on the building's outside and in the rooms.

Sad situation. Will not return.

Arrived at the hotel. The lobby was unattended, but had a phone to call. The person picked up and was there about 10 min later. I had accidentally double booked but they had no clue. Still waiting for resolution as they have been unavailable for the hotels.com people. This used to be a nice older hotel that was clean and friendly. This has changed. Now it’s older, showing age and in disrepair. Room was musty, towels were funky and worn out and I even managed to spot a wayward roach on the ceiling. I have been staying here the past 5 years, but will not be returning.

No ice machine accessible after 7pm, you have to ask for ice and after7pm nothing at all. Dirty room, i looked under my bed and found an unopened beer, half a pack of cigarettes and a used cup. Old console tv with a defective remote. The only poditives were the room was cheap and quiet

The place was overall clean, with a few exceptions like one blanket had cigarette hole burn marks and the carpet really needed to be shampooed/cleaned. Very pleased to not see any bugs of any kind nor evidence that any existed there! Staff was very nice, but the lobby did not open at the stated in the book.
