A special place.

It was lovely and peaceful, as were the hosts. You really feel removed from the hustle of daily life. The road getting there is tricky but the result was worth it. Fabulous, healthy breakfasts.

Great home base for exploring the Southern part of The Big Island Hawai'i.

Rick and Katy are straight forward to deal with, providing lots of insider information on out of the way experiences on The Big Island. The view from the common area where you can enjoy the healthy breakfast that Rick and Katy provide is peaceful. The veranda is a perfect place to watch the two goats playing in the yard. The room is very clean with a fridge to store perishables in. The bed is a nice place to relax and get a good night sleep to prepare for the next day's adventure. Lots of extra blankets if you are there during cooler periods. The shower and bathroom facilities are topnotch. I would not hesitate to recommend Rick and Katy spot to any of my friends or family. Gorgeous property. Great atmosphere. Friendly owners.

The owners were friendly and accomodating. The property overlooks much of the area. The price was cheap.
