"Property was clean and well maintained. Breakfast area was constantly stocked, but felt crowded at times. Even though we asked for service on all days we didn’t receive cleaning for 1 of them. Our in room coffee pods were not refilled, there is 24hour coffee in the lobby though. Not a huge deal. Loved the staff-very helpful and the choice of activities were great!"

"It was my first time to Mackinaw City & Island for my birthday. I searched several hotels in the area then found Cabins at Mackinaw, it was easy and convenient for a reservation. All the staff was friendly and courteous. When I saw the cabin it was exquisite, clean and well-maintained. I was totally satisfied with the cabin it completed my first time experience to Mackinaw City. If anyone is looking for a great getaway in Mackinaw City & Island I'd highly recommend these cabins, you won't be disappointed. Plus, its within walking distance to the ferry when the time comes to visit the island."

"I stayed for a night with my children, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We loved the up north feel of it. Everything was well maintained, and any time we had a question or needed help, the staff was very attentive."

"It was very homey - “mom and pop” kind of place - we arrived early evening and there was a note on the office door with our first names and which room was ours with a key in that room’s door and the note also said to check out the same way. Clock on door said they wouldn’t be back until the next day but there was a number to call if we needed them. Bed was comfortable with soft high thread count sheets and dish network for tv service. The windows had screens if you wanted to open them which I love ! I could see where parking was limited but wasn’t a problem because I believe there were some vacancies. The carpet was somewhat worn near the front door and the shower fixtures looked a little dated but worked just fine. The only problem I had was I didn’t pack a hair dryer and there wasn’t one provided in the room. Not sure if the owners lived on scene but there were two sweet fur babies (cats ) inside that kept a watchful eye over the area ! Made me feel at home since I can’t travel with mine ! I would definitely stay here again if in the area ( I would just bring my hair dryer) oh, and there was also a box fan but the air conditioner worked so well I wouldn’t have needed it."

"It was a very comfortable place with a great view of the lake. My only suggestion for the host would be to get some better skillets. The ones there were the old ‘non stick’ ones that were very scratched. I used them, but only because I had no other choice. Otherwise everything else in the kitchen was great, lots of dishes, glasses and silverware. We enjoyed meeting your neighbors."
