"What a cozy, charming place. Everything we needed was there, the hosts were easy to communicate with. It was beautiful, peaceful and we had a lot of fun. We will definitely be back! "This was our second time staying at Big Bear Lodge with a party of 16 and it was such an amazing time! The house is huge, fully stocked, very cozy and clean. The hot tub is a great bonus on a chilly Fall evening but one of my favorite spots is the fire pit with tons of seating for everyone along with the outdoor sound system. Brian is great and communication was wonderful! We will definitely be back again next year!!! "

"Super cute! Loved the tiny cabin feel, the leaves and property were so cute. Had to sweep all of the left over dog hair up from previous guests, but we love dogs, so it wasn’t a bother. Can’t wait to stay agin :)"

"This a very nice house. It is on a lake, but doesn't really have a swimming area on the property. The use of the kayaks was a great option. We were able to do some fishing off the dock. The house is about an hour away from most bigger towns. We spent a lot of time in Alpena which had a great beach and splash pad. It was very hot while we were there. I thought that the house had AC, but it was only 2 portable units, one downstairs and one upstairs. They did not cool the house down, especially the bedrooms upstairs were very hot. But it was also 90 plus degrees while we were there. There was only one garbage bag, so that was tough the first day. We had what we knew we needed to bring, but thought there would be enough garbage bags to get us through one day with a large family and 2 kids in diapers. The house was fairly clean, and overall a very nice place to stay, Just bring garbage bags and fans if it is going to be hot."
