"Very spacious rooms (especially for a European hotel in a smallish city), comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. They are not fancy, however, and there aren't a lot of unnecessary amenities -- don't expect a lot of bells and whistles, just a solid traditional hotel with friendly staff. The beds and pillows were a bit too soft for me, but may be perfect for you. The breakfast is very filling and tasty, with a surprising amount of variety -- especially worth getting in such a small town with relatively few morning options. The bells from the church across the street are definitely audible -- and start early and end late on weekends -- but didn't really bother my friends and I too much. Given the location and the price, this is an excellent choice for your trip to Meissen."

Absolutely lovely breakfast room and excellent breakfast. Very good food and huge portions in the hotel restaurant. No English TV at all, not even CNN or BBC, so that was a disappointment, "

She spoke with her colleague who decided not to offer a refund as I had parked inside. I stated that there was no reason for me to move from my initial parking space and as such was being asked to pay for a parking space I had not got. He didn’t care. Avoid the hotel - hidden charges to park and use facilities - there was no mention of discount for hotels.com gold members either. "
