"The directions were easy to follow so we found the hotel without a problem. The receptionist was delightful and helpful. The room was basic but comfortable and warm. The shower had great water pressure and there was a hairdryer. With free parking outside the front door and breakfast included there wasn't anything not to like. Great value for money ."

"This was the most amazing property. Beautiful decor and upkeep, incredible view of the valley. Centrally located would definitely stay here again on future visits to Douro Valley. I don’t know, but whatever."

The staff was extremely helpful and offered to book a win tasting tour nearby which was such a pleasant experience. I would come back to stay if I were in the area."

"A beautiful view but not a great option if you have any kind of mobility issues. Be prepare to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs. No elevators anywhere. That qualification aside, a beautiful place ."
