SSVR3-Cute 2nd Floor Apartment in Munising with a Balcony and Grill

  • Welcome to Munising, Michigan, the home of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Waterfalls, Boat Cruises, Scenic Tours, and some great Yooper Pasties! Located downtown close to all the local attractions this newly remodeled apartment comes complete with two bedrooms, full bath, open concept kitchen and living space, wifi, and cable tv. This unit also features an outside balcony with a grill and some seating. This apartment is perfect for short or long stays, whether you are passing through on vacation, or coming up for work and looking for furnished housing. Please note that the heat is controlled by unit #2. Pet friendly for dogs up to 30lbs, 2 dog limit and there is a $53/pet fee.
    Located on the 2nd Floor, the stairwell includes 21 steps to access the units. Larger groups can rent more than one unit in the building if needed, there is a total of 4. Call us for more information.

    **PETS! Airbnb may only charge you for the 1st pet, you will be requested to send an additional $50 plus tax ($53) per pet. Our pet policy is $50/pet plus tax. Airbnb does not collect this amount you are still responsible. We're respecting your pet, so please respect our pet policy. Clean up after your pet, please do not allow pets on furniture. Please keep kenneled if left alone. If your pet barks when you are gone, please do not leave it alone.

Perfect spot

We had a blast in Munising. The apartment was clean with good amenities and we could walk just about everywhere! Would recommend and will definitely look at this property again when we come back!

The apartment was clean which is a must in any vrbo. The location was nice for the visit to the town. The apartment and building was nothing fancy and the stairwell to the apartment was awkward.

Don’t get scared by the Hallway, this is a very nice, clean and beautiful flat. Comfortable sleep and everything worked well. We enjoyed munising but not much restaurant options.. we went to Marquette for exceptional dining..

Very Enjoyable

Well suited for a family of four, with 2 teens. Great location in town allowed us to walk to restaurants and shops. Was a little concerned that noise from traffic and businesses would be a problem, but was very quiet. Munising and Pictured Rocks are absolute gems. Looking forward to returning to explore the area even more.

Pleasant stay

We had a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic—really close to breweries, restaurants, and pasties. The A/C window units, while a bit noisy like most, did their job and kept the apartment cool. The air fragrance in the entrance hallway was very strong, but it wasn’t an issue inside the apartment itself. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and the convenience of the location made it even better.

Cute place!

We had a great time during our stay. The property is really cute and clean with a nice balcony and fire pit in the yard which we used on a chilly evening. The location is right in the center of town so we were able to walk around town. The only downside I can say is there are no closets or drawers for your clothes, but you are able to hang things on the back of the bedroom door/kitchen hooks. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Wonderful apartment!

We loved this place. It was just right for our visit to Pictured Rocks. very close to what we wanted to do with easy access to the area. The apartment was clean and cosy. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was great. It was so cute too. The balcony with the grill was a great bonus. And it was very quiet and restful. We slept well and enjoyed all the comforts of home. The internet was great and we enjoyed the tv options at night when we were tired from our outdoor adventures. Totally recommend this place!

Great location, we could walk to all of the places in Munising we wanted to get to and a short drive to so many outdoor adventures. A minor issue with getting into the apartment was handled quickly and professionally. We would definitely rent this apartment again.

This was probably our main appeal. The week we were there the area was quiet and relaxing. A great place to unwind from a full day of exploring. If you’re looking for a view, this isn’t it. Already had great views during the day. We did witness a double rainbow one night though! If you can’t handle stairs or no A/C, don’t recommend. My sister and I are Seniors and harder for us to deal with the number of steps and no A/C from all the up and down on arrival and departure days. FYI - No closets or dressers. Small second bedroom.

The rental company was very responsive as we had spotty internet the night before and I did not receive the code to get in. They responded quick to my email and phone calls. I would totally recommend this place. The only thing I would change if I could would be a screen door on the deck sliding door. We had beautiful weather and would have loved to have the door open but didn't want bugs to fly in. The location was great. Able to walk to most things.

Unfortunately, for the second time weather didn’t cooperate and canceled the cruise. The rental is in a great location just had an issue with the heat during our stay. Convenient to the Pictured Rocks area, Marquette and easy walking around the town right out the door, and plenty of spots to walk dogs too. We did not realize there were so few places within Pictured Rocks area where dogs are allowed, and so had to leave them home in crates, not just for the boat cruise, but most of the Park trails (and I got a message that they were barking one afternoon...sorry!) Very relaxing to come back to at end of day, or to hang out on some of the bad weather days to watch the smart TV with all the streaming services. We mostly cooked there or brought in take out, so as not to leave the dogs alone. Lots of choices right in town, and a pretty good grocery store. Can't wait to go back!we took the dogs to Miners Falls, one of the few places they were allowed and then went on to various spots all the way to Grand Marais. Had a good dinner at the Grand Marais Tavern. The weather started out warmish but then it did turn chilly, which we loved. the leaves were turning color and the lake was dramatic.
