Hakuba Sunvalley Hotel
Room was functional but very tired/worn. A lot of smelly kerosene heaters to keep things warm, which was not great. I'm 6t'3" and couldn't shower in the tiny bathroom. There is a small functional onsen downstairs, opens at 16:00 but not really warm until about 17:00 o so. Breakfast is functional ...

Bell Cottage Village
年末年始２泊しました。駐車場がかなり ぬかるんでいて、駐車スペースを確保するのが大変でした。施設の整備や清潔さは特に問題はなかったのですが、チェックインする時間に合わせて暖房をつけておいてもらえると良かったです。暖房器具が１台しかなく部屋が暖まるまでかなり時間がかかりました。

The location can't be beaten. The staff are wonderful and the rooms are clean and comfortable, they're also bigger than other's I've stayed in while in Japan.
