It’s in a small village on the water and the rooms are super comfortable with great towels and bedding. The windows and bathroom are beautifully designed. The staff are all so kind and the breakfast has to made to order eggs and is very generous and delicious. Dinner was also very good with an onsite chef. Very upscale experience in a very unique area. Close to Cuchilleros and coastal towns. Highly recommend

Pleasant stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Gran Hotel Brillante. Our room was lovely with a nice view of the water. The staff member, Ramon, was so friendly, welcoming, and very patiently answered every question we had (and is fluent in English). We could park our car for free in very nearby lot. Lots of nearby restaurants in addition to the one in the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

A five star experience

This should be a five star hotel! The hotel, service and hotel were amazing. We are walking the Camino and this hotel was definitely worth the venture off the route (not far from Camino). The food was amazing, both dinner and breakfast. The beds were super comfy and the room was spacious. The owner and gentleman at the reception were very kind and helpful.

Very nice and big room. Excellent breakfest included high standard elements like jamon iberico, excellent cheeses , egs to order, tasty cheese cake and much more. We ate one evening in their restaurant and Nela the chef was awsome.really very talanted.. very fair prices..extensive wine list. But above all, Laura was super helpfull for trip suggestions, restaurant reservations and more.she is very nice, smart and super talanted and also pretty...i am sure she will have her own hotel one day.

I initially wrote a negative review about this property. But after staying there, three days and being the recipient of wonderful service, incredibly friendly staff and excellent dining within the hotel, my view has changed. This hotel was selected because it was a base for further exploration Of areas in Asturias, and it turned out to be excellent for that purpose. This is a quiet town, remove from the hustle and bustle of the other cities we visited, and therefore, is a great reprieve in terms of finding parking, having very easy dining that is excellent, and then searching for areas to the east in the west for spectacular views, and other features, such as history, culture, and art. Therefore, I give This hotel, at least a four star rating, perhaps 4.5
