A Beautiful Cabin on a Nice Wide Creek! FREE WiFi/ ROKU TV

If you need a place to get away from all the stress, look no further 'Laurel Creek' is where you want to rest! This cabin is charming and has a great view of the creek.

We have security cameras outside of cabin and are notified when guest arrive. All alarms will be turned off, upon arrival. Only outside camera will be active 24/7

No party's are allowed and if more than allotted number of guest stay overnight, deposit will not be refunded.

We have installed a whole house water filtration system, so no hard water that tastes and looks bad or has odors. Installed 10/20 /18.

The smoke-free cabin is decorated very tastefully with country charm. You can sit back on one of the rockers and take in a nice book, or just take a swing on the porch with a loved one with a nice cold glass of lemonade, while listening to the rippling creek.

There is a wrap-around porch with a private porch off the master bedroom, a great view of the creek! The kids will love the creek, just look under a few rocks and discover all sorts of critters. Bring a pole and try some fishing, no license is required.

You might even see a beaver or turkey depending on the season.. Leave some corn for deers as they do come in the yard to feed and drink quite often.

End your day by relaxing in the jacuzzi on our deck, while doing some stargazing!

Family Time

Cabin location was great. Property was very nice with big yard, creek flowing past. Hot tub and decks with comfortable seating made it a very enjoyable place to stay and spend time together.

Our anniversary getaway was amazing at this beautiful cabin! My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this cute, clean, cozy home! It was equipped with anything you might need, good location, and the hot tub and creek were relaxing and the perfect finishing touch! We will be back!

Murphy NC Family vacation

Nice cabin next to babbling creek with great back yard and amenities. Saw some wild creatures including a red fox. Interior is well appointed with cozy furnishings and decorations. Ample towels for bathing and hot tubbing. Kitchen adequately supplied with cooking utensils and pots.

Great birthday getaway!

We took our daughter for her 16th birthday and had a blast! The cabin is located within driving distance to so many cool places, and it was very relaxing when we returned. We plan to return.

Weekend getaway

This cabin was beautiful. It was exactly as pictured online. Very clean, very comfortable, and very spacious. Everything you need for our stay was on hand. The hosts were very helpful and finding a fishing location and answered any questions I had very quickly. We had a great time and hope to come back soon.

Cozy

This place was set back off a quiet street and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. We had our dog with us and he was able to run around the yard which was nice. I had my morning coffee sitting in the upper balcony watching the dog play below in the fall early morning mist.. the sounds of the creek were also really nice❤️

Great Getaway!

The cabin was overall great! Loved the tranquility and peacefulness of the location. The babbling brook was awesome sitting at the firepit. The hot tub was great for relaxing the muscles after a long day visiting Blue Ridge. The owners were very attentive to our needs. We would definitely love to stay here again! :)

Not great but ok

Overall we had an ok stay. The home was very nice and had conveniences for a family. Fishing on the property was the selling point for us, but there were no fish in the creek. The water was low enough for my kids to play in it though. There was a lot of pet hair over the seating in the main area of the home and my family was eaten alive by small black bugs in the house. The beds in the two bedrooms were squeaky and a bit uncomfortable. The owner was responsive.

So relaxing.

A quick getaway for us. Cabin was true to description. Cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Hoping to do a little fishing in the creek but the water level was down. However, we enjoyed the sound of the creek while we sat in the terrific adirondack chairs by the fire pit. The front yard is flat, spacious and begging for some football, soccer, or frisbee action. Also bring the fixings for s’mores. The roasting sticks are already there.

Nice remote older cabin

The property was fine for me and my 2 dogs. Although there were 2 bedrooms/baths, I only used upstairs bedroom/bath. The property is pie shaped so a bit narrow in back with creek running down left side. The hot tub was ok but cover seemed awkward since you have to fold and lift off manually and it's not the lightest. The hot tub appeared to be recently shocked so sentiment was sitting on bench and floor but water was clear and perfect temperature. The house worked for our needs, especially liked oversized washer/drier that came in convenient with dogs. The only thing that shocked me is I had to move some electronic plugin, next to kitchen table, so I could plug my laptop in. I moved it to another plug outlet close by. When I was packing up, I went to move the electronic plugin back to its original location but it was gone. I left cabin locked anytime I was off property and at night so someone must have accessed cabin while I was out. Just very strange because I didn't have any notice of this. I have no idea why someone would remove an electronic plugin from property.
