It has all the cozy features you would expect in a cabin and more. Sit out on the screened in porch any time of year with a comfy blanket wrapped around you and a steaming cup of coffee. Lovely space for getting away to replenish and focus on self-care, family time, adventures in the local area, artists, holistic minded people and great for those wanting to get away to focus on a particular task, like writing a book or working on your business plan. It has an Amazon Fire stick and a DVD player with a fun selection of DVDs to choose from.

Host welcoming and responsive. Very comfortable place. Nicely accommodated. Loved the oils. Everything we needed for a very relaxing stay. Thank you. 2nd visit there. Will be back.
Forest Therapy is a charming, comfortable cabin tucked away but easily accessible. Cozy furniture, comfy beds, and a very well stocked kitchen made my visit top notch! Jennifer is a great host, super communication and quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend Forest Therapy and look forward to staying there again!!
Peaceful, restful cabin in the woods! We loved our stay for a weekend of relaxing and mountain biking at Jackrabbit. This cabin was sparkly clean, had everything we needed plus thoughtful extras, easy to find on a quiet dead end road surrounded by trees. It is 5 minutes from Murphy and 20 minutes to Hayesville. We were given a very reasonable last minute discounted rate. Our host responded promptly to all our questions and needs.
This is really one of the best outfitted vacation rental I’ve seen. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the kitchen has really nice cooking and serving pieces; nothing fells cheap or thrift shop. The long gravel driveway is something we should have been more prepared for.. We drove a Honda CíVic and kept bottoming out due to the deep ruts and potholes that were unavoidable. Maybe because it was rainy season? Expect to go in low gear and really slowly unless you have an SUV or something with better clearance.than we did.
Property as described. Inside was clean and complete. Games, movies, and wifi. Access to the garage was convenient when it rained, which was almost every day for our stay. It was disappointing that the stream was dry considering all the rain. The Host should probably mention the dirt road up to the cabin has a couple of large ruts and potholes. It wasn't a problem for a SUV with plenty of ground clearance.
This place is amazing, even though its close to town you felt like you were miles away from everything and it felt amazing. Everything that we could think we needed was there up to and including some great welcome treats that made you want to curl up with a good book and relax
Everything was beautifully clean and well-equipped. Exactly what we needed for our stay. Perfect location for anyone taking a class, etc. at the Folk School. FYI: If you're scent-sensitive -- the laundry detergent used for the bed linens has a pretty strong scent.
They do a great job in communicating where everything is and in a organized fashion very relaxing end of the road cabin you’ll see lots of deer lots of things to do in Murphy would definitely stay there again
We totally enjoyed the house and location. Very quiet. A storm had washed out the access drive, but it was repaired the next morning. Many spots to visit in the area. We like local restaurants. Another storm knocked out the electric for several hours, so we just enjoyed siting out on the porch listening to all the birds. Will consider returning next year.
I stayed at Forest Therapy while taking a class at the JC Campbell Folk School. The cabin was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. You can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into making the cabin welcoming and comfortable. The setting was quiet and restful. The road to the cabin is "rough" but after the first pass, my little Subaru Crosstrek made it just fine - it's fun dodging the rough spots. The birdsong in the morning was delightful. And best of all for me, once you turn left on to Harshaw Road, the Folk School is only about a five minute drive away. Highly recommend this wonderful cabin.
Everything was very clean and neat. We enjoyed the location as it was relatively convenient to Murphy and the grocery stores, etc. The only thing missing from the kitchen was a cookie/baking sheet and onion powder but othewise was well stocked with basics. We cooked breakfast and a dinner but never used the grill. I did not feel well one of the days and found the house to be quite comfortable to lounge in, especially the big couch which provided a nice napping spot for me while my husband worked on some writing. Overall, we only needed to use the master bedroom and it was cozy, the comforter was really soft, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. I often have trouble sleeping in hotels or other places and did not have that issue this time. Definitely recommend!
