"The room was clean. They had fresh fruit at breakfast which i appreciated. No broken equipment or furniture, sheets were clean, no sign f ants or other bugs (and I checked) bed was comfortable. Amazingly quiet despite being nearly full. Yes, this is an older property and could use a facelift but it met my needs perfectly. I can’t see the older furniture or art or rugs when I am sleeping which is the only real reason I would ever stay at any hotel. "

"Best hotel in Marshall which isn’t saying much if you’ve stayed anywhere else in this town. However, this is a real deal hotel, friendly staff, clean safe rooms, nice breakfast layout in the morning. I won’t stay anywhere else when I come to visit my student at MVC. "
