Lazy Pelican Beach House- Oceanside Village

One of your favorites from Beach Bird Properties ! Golf cart included. Beautiful open floor plan 3 BR, 2BA house just a few rows back from the ocean. Great view of the lake and fountain for your morning coffee with even better views of the sunset. Just minutes to the 2 outdoor pools, children's water park and indoor pool (open year round). Private beach parking with access to the magnificently soft sand of Surfside Beach. Amenities include baseball field, basketball, volley ball, bocce ball, tennis, pickle ball, and a shuffle board courts.
We are a pet friendly property, there is a 45# limit on dogs size unless cleared by the owners. There is a $150 non-refundable pet fee.
We reserve the right to monitor the outside area of this property via home security devices.

Great house and location

Perfect beach house!

This beach house was perfect for our small family. The house was beautiful and had all of the essentials. The owners were so helpful and very quick to respond to our questions. We have already booked our Spring vacation here! Highly recommend.

This was our family’s second time staying in OSV and this house was great! It is a short walk to the beach or even shorter trip in the golf cart. The neighborhood is very pet friendly and there is even a dog waste bin and bags provided right across the road from the house. We loved the screened in porch. The house had everything we needed for the week and more - kitchen was stocked with small appliances, the house was also equipped with plenty of beach chairs, sand toys, umbrellas and a cooler. The whole family enjoyed our stay, including my two doggies. Thanks for sharing your beach home with us, we hope to return again in the future!

The perfect stay’

Hands down our best vacation we’ve been on yet! The host are amazing, they have everything you could need while on your stay. From the golf cart to the beach chairs it really accommodates making it a stress/hassle free vacation. Very quiet peacefully property with a beautiful view of the lake for those late evening sits. Wonder place to stay

We love this house. It has such an open layout with the bedrooms on either end. The kitchen feels big and all decor is so beachy. Nice furniture and amazing screened porch. The golf cart is so much fun and it is in a wonderful subdivision!!!! Loved it.

A Wonderful Experience at The Lazy Pelican

My family had a wonderful stay at The Lazy Pelican. I have never stayed at a cleaner rental! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the hosts were fantastic! You are just a quick golf cart ride from the ocean. The property had everything needed for a day at the beach including umbrellas, chairs, beach toys and more. We hope to stay at this property next year!

A wonderful property

This is a great property, close to the beach,the house is exceptional. There is a great porch to enjoy the veiw.This is our second visit to the lazy Pelican and it is the best house that we have stayed at and we have been coming to Oceanside Village for at least 10 Years. Great Stay

The only negative I have would be that there was only one key card to get in and out of the gates and it did not work (I couldn’t get it to work, maybe it was my fault.) Other than that, the house was great. Check in was simple. The place was very clean and the view from the front deck was great. Definitely recommend staying here!

Great house!

This is a great house - it doesn’t always happen that you see pictures of a home and it is exactly that when you arrive - this house is! It’s clean and stocked with plenty of items to be used during our stay. The screened in front porch was one of our favorite places to be. We immediately booked it again for next summer when we arrived!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Pelican!! It was perfect for us! The house is exactly as described and extremely clean!! The use of golf cart was awesome! Just a short 2 minute ride to the beach. We really loved sitting on the front porch overlooking the little lake. The communication from the owners was excellent!! Would definitely stay there again!! Dream Home

The Lazy Pelican is a great home with a view to enjoy while sitting on the porch. The rooms are spaceous . The home has a great decor. Equipped with everything you need, and Mark & Diane were very helpful with any questions that we had.The welcome basket was so nice of them. We will definetly be back next year.

Great vacation home

We enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Pelican very much. The perfect amount of space for our four generations girls trip, 3 adults, 2 children and a little dog. It had everything we needed, even a kennel for my dog. The golf kart made getting to the beach and around Ocean Side Village so easy. The beach was so nice and the kids had fun at the kiddie pool, too. Mark and Diane were very responsive to all messages that I sent them. I hope to be a repeat customer next year. -Amy Horton
