"I chose a handicap accessible room so I would have a hand held shower and grip bars, there was only one grip bar on front of the tub, and only an over head shower it should not have been listed as hanicap accessible. Everything else was good but will not stay there again."

"You can tell you're close to SonShine cabin by the Black-eyed Susan's dotted here and there on the side of the road. It mimics the way they are dotted in the landscape around the cabin along with some huge gorgeous ferns and lovely landscaped flower beds. The porch is nicely fitted with two rocking chairs and a porch swing that overlooks an expansive front yard. One of my favorite parts of this cabin was the tree swing. It was so nice to just bask in the peaceful surroundings while gently swinging away. Felt like I had not a care in the world. The inside of the cabin is just as cute as the outside. The first room I entered was the breezeway. It was so inviting and reminded me of my own childhood home. We loved the large reclining sectional in the family room. Plenty of seating and you don't feel like you're sitting right on top of each other. The bedrooms were nicely decorated with very comfy mattresses and there were more than enough bath towels. The owners were very nice, helpful and quick to respond before and during our stay. They mowed part of the field so I could watch the meteor shower but unfortunately it rained every single day and night. Nothing you can do about the weather.I would highly recommend Sunshine Cabin. It is very clean, well maintained, well stocked, nicely decorated and sooo relaxing. Have to give a shout out to the Red Pepperoni in Madison (YUM) and all the great small business shops on Main Street. It's such a wonderful small town. I'll be back!"

"I want to start by saying this cabin is so neat! We loved it. With that being said, it could have been cleaner. Dusty and floors could have been swept. Shower was clean though! I’m pretty sure it has a compost toilet… it wasn’t or didn’t seem to be in working order. There were a ton of gnats in the bathroom due to that. My kids refused to use it. The pond is pretty and we planned to fish, but it was completely covered in green film and we were not expecting that. This place has SO MUCH potential and we would stay again. We didn’t make it to the cave but owner tried to meet us, our schedules just didn’t match up. Due to the cave being in the main ad, I think that trail should be visibly marked for future guests! I don’t want my review to seem all negative because this place really is cool. Just needs a little more love."
