"It was a pleasant stay. Our room was very clean and the staff were helpful with any needs that we had. The manager went above and beyond to help with any issues we had. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to others staying in the area."

"Property had a lot of potential, but no care. Chair was urine-stained. Shower was filled with old shampoo bottles. The bed was unkempt beneath the old comforter. The kicker, though, was no wifi available (and cell service was not available for a backup). I reached out to property management from 7 a.m. the first morning of my stay since this was a writing retreat (where I need my online tools). I ran all troubleshooting to no avail. By 12:16, the property manager did not return my emails until that evening, after I called Expedia to seek a refund and had vacated the property. I tried calling the number listed for the property in Expedia, and the person who answered said she didn't have a vrbo - so the number was false. I have no idea how the property had a 9.4 rating prior to my booking - it was a solid 4 to 5 just on the shabby condition. I do not recommend (and I have photos)."

"Wonderful location on an incredible lake. 2 minutes down the road from 36 holes of quality golf. My only complaint is the property needs a little bit more TLC as far as landscaping and cleaning goes. You can tell it’s basically only a quick cleaning crew there before new guests arrive.Overall an incredible place to stay. We were very thankful. "

"We found this gem after a failed rental in the area. It was a short-notice booking and the host was very responsive. The pictures do not do this house, landscape and view justice! Plenty of space for our party of 10, indoors and outdoors. We spent a lot of time outside on the expansive patios and at the dock which sits at the mouth of a large cove on the Tennessee River. The water was clean and deep at the dock. The lower patio was shaded and had rattan furniture. We were here for sports, so didn’t bring our boat, but has room for one in either side of the dock. You would need bumpers. We brought two blow up paddle boards and fishing poles. The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. The kitchen has an over-sized fridge and an independent ice-maker downstairs in one of two bar areas. The trash had not been picked up from the previous week and the host sent someone to pick it up within the hour! Highly recommend if you love the water and views!"
