"External doors to balconies on Lowe level floors could not be locked, staff seemed lost to resolve, 3 rooms later it was resolved. People partying on balconies well past 3am in the morning. Extensive building work ongoing next door - avoid at all cost."

"This is my second stay at the Golden Tower Pinheiros. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, the staff goes way and beyond to be helpful, the breakfast buffet is so diversified and delicious, and location could not be better. "Very clean room and attentive staff. Shout out to Juliana in the Front Desk who was fantastic. Excellent option for the price. If I would want to be super picky, the bathroom in room 206 needs a coat of painting, the sink drains a bit slowly, and the balcony door takes some effort to close completely shut. But those are minute details, the room was very clean and very comfortable. I’ll definitely come back. "

"Great location. Rooms were nice but inside lock was broken and there was no shelf in the shower so soap had to be stored on the floor (??) The biggest issue by far was communication for entering the building. EACH time we entered, we had to prove we were guests of Hotel Charlie, it was completely unclear what type of document to show (sometimes passport, sometimes booking info, sometimes just our name). It could take up to 15 minutes (!!) of the doorman taking our documents, going inside, coming out again, looking at something else going back inside, etc. Also they said the doorman would be there 24/7 but about 30-40% of the time there was no one, and then you had to press a button and someone would speak to you in Portuguese so it was impossible to communicate if you do not speak the language. Sometimes no one was there and we had to just wait outside for long periods. I would highly recommend they put in a clear identification system. This was particularly difficult as we didn't speak Portuguese. Do NOT recommend, this was a horribly frustrating experience on a business trip, that stressed out our team. Also they do not clean your room or get any new towels unless you pay an extra fee and you can only pay with a Brazilian credit card. The room was clean when we arrived but staying a week with no cleaning service is disgusting."
