Gilles was a perfect host with excellent communication, wonderful breakfast with lovely apple juice made from the apples grown in the wonderful gardens. "After a long day of travelling, we made a last-minute decision to add one more overnight stop before heading home from the Eurotunnel — and we’re so glad we did.
What a gem! This charming small hotel is beautifully peaceful, with just a few rooms, and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
We also had a lovely dinner at the on-site restaurant, which made the evening even more relaxing. It felt like a perfect little escape to recharge before the final stretch home.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful stopover in beautiful surroundings."

"We arrived after reception closed so had to use the out of hours screen outside but despite multiple attempts it wouldn't recognise our booking. Had to use the emergency contact no, and a member of staff came out to help. After failing to get it to work she opened reception and checked us in manually. Bit frustrating but ultimately resolved by helpful stuff. Everything else was fine & good value for money."

" I stayed here with my teenage sons, the hotel was easy to reach by car and there was parking on site.
The hotel was quiet and safe, staff were very pleasant and customer focused. Beds were very comfortable, we had a great walk around the lake that was behind the property. Rooms very clean and welcoming.
Was easy to reach the War memorial from the hotel.
