"The rooms were clean. The staff were excellent. They were friendly and enthusiastic. The breakfast was outstanding. The workout room was impressive, but the treadmills could stand to be oiled. Also the carpeting in the rooms are worn. Other than that, it was a great experience."

"Pulled up and had to walk all around the building to check in and than take 2 elevators to get to room and only 1 was working in actual hotel. Toilet wouldn’t flush. Nobody at front desk . Breakfast was good, great location"

"I enjoyed my stay at the Cambria Austin Downtown. The location is one of its biggest strengths — it’s close to several parks and green spaces, including the trails along Lady Bird Lake, which are just a short walk away. It’s also very convenient to the highway, making it easy to get in and out of the city without hassle. Because it’s near the Rainey Street and downtown bar areas, there is some noise at night, but the neighborhood still feels safe and walkable, even for solo travelers. If you want to be close to the action, this is a great spot. Valet parking is very expensive, but it’s also extremely convenient if you don’t want to deal with downtown parking yourself. Overall, the hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable — a good place to stay if you want easy access to Austin’s parks, nightlife, and major roads."
