"The host is really nice and the room is quite clean and stylish. We booked a family room and it’s actually quite big. The breakfast is also very nice."
"This is a hidden gem in Bordeaux, the hotel is conveniently located to the tram and 5 stops to the city center. On arrival we were welcomed by Brian who has wealth of knowledge of the area and was very kind. Brian really made our stay memorable he even assisted us in ordering dinner. Definitely will recommend the hotel to friends and stay here again when we return. "

"Great stay, many thanks. A bit of an issue getting the right entrance (for anyone reading this, there are 2 enterances and you need the right one and may be told the wrong one!), but once all sorted, the appartment was perfect and in a great locations. Very modern, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend."

"Cannot say enough about the tremendous staff at this property. They were so accommodating in every way! The rooms and bathroom are a good size and the hotel lobby is excellent for breakfast or a drink."

"Room is good, bathroom is a bit too small with no toiletries. Most shocking no water at all except for a dispenser in the lobby. The heat in Bordeaux is very strong so the hotel should consider the hydration of their guests. Water is cheap to provide."

"Very homely but with everything you would expect from a larger hotel. A refreshing change from generic 'business trip' hotels. Would suit well for a weekend break exploring Bordeaus, excellent location but also a refreshing change for work travel. Would absolutely stay again."

"We booked the Executive room and it was spacious, nicely decorated, very updated and clean, and very comfortable! Great safe and quiet location, yet very close to so many cafes, restaurants, and shopping. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. "

"Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Bordeaux centre. An ideal base for exploring the city on foot, close to many of the sights and endless cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. A special mention to the excellent reception staff who helped us book a *very* early taxi to the train station when our original train was cancelled. And even gave us a coffee to fuel us for the 4.30am start! We look forward to our next visit. "
"Rooms were clean, staff was courteous. Only issue was the key system, they never got it to work with two keys (one would always NOT work from the beginning, for both rooms). Every time we asked to fix one key, it would disable the other…so what was the point in giving us two keys?
The other issue is you get what you paid for. There is literally only room to sleep. No room for luggage. We pushed them under the bed. Bed frames are smaller than the mattress so you can’t even sit on the side of the bed. Bathroom sink size is below standards. Can’t even bow down to wash your face ( your head would hit the wall - the sink is sooo narrow and close to the wall). Shower head wasn’t working right and on our first day, sink drain cap was stuck in the closed position so we had to brush our teeth, wash our hands, etc in the shower, but they quickly addressed it the next day. Breakfast was reasonable - ham and eggs were standard protein.
If you just need a place to put your stuff and sleep, it’s ok. But don’t expect to do anything else in your room. Also, because there’s a bunk bed, I keep hitting my head on it every time I reached for something on the bedside while I was up. Although thankful for the price (got it for less than $70/night), I’m never doing that again…would rather stay a little further away from downtown in a nicer hotel. On the flip side, the attached Ibis (non Budget) was nice, had a classy spacious lobby that we used…probably just spring for that next time."
"The immediate area is a bit bland but it is only a short walk to the older and more interesting part of the city.
The building is new and very clean and quiet. The room was spotlessly clean and was very comfortable."
"Staycity Aparthotel is conveniently situated for the old town so everywhere walkable. The rooms are clean and quiet and the courtyard garden we overlooked lovely. Staff pleasant and helpful and always available. Cafes and restaurants near the tower of St.Michel and of course in the old town itself. Transport is nearby. Rooms were well equipped and breakfast plentiful. We all agreed an excellent place to stay."
