"Patrica and her team were wonderful. They went out of their way to get our room ready for an early check in which was very kind. The rooms are immaculate and had everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful with a great selection of food. The staff were always very friendly and cheerful. The rooftop pool was the icing on the cake! The views were stunning and we were always able to get a bed by the pool. We will not hesitate to return!"

"Wat een prachtig huis en prachtige plek! Je voelt je echt een prinses in je eigen kasteel. De inrichting is mooi, netjes en schoon. In de middle of nowhere maar op 5 minuten lopen is het gezellige dorpspleintje van Melidoni en kun je heerlijk uit eten, ontbijten of een boodschap doen. Het zwembad en de grote tuin zijn heerlijk met parasols, ligbedden en badlakens. Elke dag sinaasappelsap uit eigen tuin. Besef wel dat je buiten leeft, veel vogels die prachtig zingen, maar ook alle soorten insecten die om je heen vliegen en soms ook binnen zijn. Even spannend, maar geen overlast van gehad. Wel deet meenemen voor de muggen. En alles goed opruimen, anders zijn de mieren ook binnen. Niets kon ons vakantiegevoel verstoren, maar een paar kleine puntjes zijn er wel; horren zouden fijn zijn gezien alle insecten. Je kunt beter alles dicht laten en de airco gebruiken ipv de deuren of ramen open zetten ivm alle insecten en de vele katten die in de tuin lopen. Ook verbranden de buren elke dag afval en die lucht/rook komt binnen als je de ramen open hebt. De douchekop in de beneden badkamer hangt naar beneden. Op de pergola woont een kattennest. Kan de pergola niet dicht overdekt gemaakt worden, want dit is eigenlijk de enige plek waar je kunnen zitten? De poezen plassen door de pergola op de tafel en op je hoofd als je er toevallig zit. En elke dag moet je alles schoon maken. Kleine dingen die ons vakantiegevoel zeker niet konden verpesten, maar wel verbeterd kunnen worden! Supervilla!"

"My kids really enjoyed the pools but I feel that being 4 and 6 were too young for the Aquapark. We booked online a bungalow room but it was in reality a room. The first two days the bedsheets of our king size bed were too small for the mattress size. The dirty glasses and cups in the room were rinsed not changed, so we started to use the paper ones. We had to asked several times for a bathroom mat for the shower. Staff was friendly and food of the restaurants was excellent. On the other hand, the buffets were OK."

"They offered us a fully new renovated room however was in front of hotel entrance. We saw ocean view from an angle. The non smoking room we asked was fine but 2 neighbors smoked. Biggest issue. No beach!!!!!! Lots of pools and hotel is more for families. Restaurants closed ala carte. Italian restaurant disorganized and food was awful. We left after 2 bites. Buffet closes at 9:30 pm they clear up at 9. Day buffet opens 12;30 and closes 2. No food left for late birds that go to beaches and shop or excursions. The grounds are kept clean and maintained. That’s why we gave it a good rating. Front desk disorganized upon checkin. No checkin counter. It’s a mess and you have to present your passport 3x cause 3 different people bounce you at around. This iberostar does not represent others we’ve been at. "

Troulis Aparthotel

"We have just returned from two wonderful weeks at the Troulis Aparthotel. We had a one bedroom apartment with a spectacular sea view (No.37) From the moment we arrived we were made to feel most welcome and throughout our stay every member of the reception staff were cheerful and helpful in answering any questions and had good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The apartment had everything we needed with a very comfy bed and was cleaned daily with towels and sheets changed every three days. The pools although small were a nice temperature and we never struggled to find a sun bed. A huge shout out to the catering staff who provided a wonderful breakfast every morning. We had read previous reviews of people saying they lacked variety but considering we were there for two weeks we were highly impressed with both the variety and the quality of the food. There are so many wonderful restaurants within walking distance, one of our favourites being only one minutes walk away. The Troulis is in an ideal position between the two bays with plenty of restaurants on either side. However, this would not be an ideal location for anybody with mobility issues because of the steep hills and plentiful steps. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. "
