"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"We wanted to experience Crete's culture. You really cannot do that when you stay in a hotel with 500 or your favorite friends!! This Villa is located about 30 minutes from Rethymno. Nestled in the foothills surrounded by olive orchards at about 1100 feet above sea level. We were there for 18 days. We discovered a Taverna (Mina's) in Garazo about 15 minutes away. The owners MADE our stay! Genuine Cretan food and hospitality."

"My wife and I enjoyed the villa so much that we changed our plans and stayed a third week. Chrysoula and her family were attentive hosts. "Lovely hotel for a family holiday. Between the pools, water park and beach our water babies were in heaven; with the inclusively priced cocktails we were too! Delicious and great range of food in the buffet. Do book on arrival if want full choice of alternative dining options. Appreciated being able to get snacks for the kids during the day. Highly rate the beach BBQ. Would have enjoyed some music in the bars in the evening, but beside that couldn’t fault our stay. "
