Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program offers one free ticket from up to three partners per reservation, and additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property-specific websites. Children's Activities - This program is available at Patricia Grand and Bay Watch from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more! Great location!

The stay was great! Excellent view & location- right on the beach! The floor of the room seemed slick with a film on it. Would stay here again! The breakfast buffet was great also!

Wonderful location

This property has a lot going for it - oceanfront, clean rooms, very nice restaurant on site (reasonable prices), close to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Room for improvement - the lazy river needed to be cleaned (the water was brown) and turn the heat on in the indoor pool. I would highly recommend this facility and would stay again.

Great atmosphere!

From the moment I looked online for a room with Vacasa and chose The Patricia Grand hotel, I have been impressed. I love that my dogs can join me too! The employees all through the stay have been so nice and social. The hotel restaurant was my only low point. The food seemed all from frozen and not cooked well.

Clean room right on the beautiful beach. Great entertainment. Loved the pool and atmosphere. The only downside was no maid service no matter how long you stay and the people at the front desk have the worst customer service! They get upset when you ask for clean towels or toilet paper. Other than that would definitely recommend this property.

Felt it was worth the money I paid

Check in process was easy, good soap and shampoo, and cute rooms. Really the only issue we had was that our heater did not work but we told them and then sent maintenance up. They replaced the unit while we were not in the room which is fine but they did not clean up after themselves. Other than that I had a nice stay.

Never again...overpriced and unwelcoming

We like staying at the PG because it was good value and dog friendly. But, after this stay we will likely not return. The first impression is always the front desk and the people there at a minimum were indifferent and at worst made us feel like we were disturbing their nap. The one bright spot for the stay was the staff at breakfast. They were welcoming and attentive. The food on the buffet, however, was not worth half the price charged. The bed in the room on one side had virtually no support on one side, springs squeeked and felt like a 2,000 pound person had been sleepin on it for a year. The caulking in the bathroom around the shower and fixtures was awful and moldy. We requested a hairdryer, twice, were told they would have to bring it to the room and it never came. And still using COVID as an excuse to not clean the rooms or offer fresh towels or refill the coffee packs REALLY?!

Spring Break 2024

Overall it’s a place to stay. Location to the beach and access is 10/10. To start you have to fight to get a parking spot to check in and get a parking pass and unload. Super hassle bcus you literally have to go in and check in person. Elevator- well you’ll be waiting awhile. Then once you make it to your room good luck getting in with the key pad that only works once in a blue moon and after 3 try’s locks you out. So spent the whole vaca going up and down to front desk trying to get into room. Made you stress to try to get in and makes you not want to leave bcus you won’t get back in. Big hassle someone needs to do better on that and change to something else. Some of the workers at front desk were nice and friendly and tried to help others seemed bothered and had massive attitude and more concerned with patting her head and rolling her eyes. Once in the room was clean and good but the mattress she will make you hurt come the next morning. They do allow dogs which many places do not. Everyone with dogs were friendly and they have a dog walking area next to building BUT no poop bags to clean up after them. Restaurant well it says they have one but it wasn’t open until Thursday-Saturday and so yeah no restaurant for us. They have a Starbucks and the girl working super great and friendly but it isn’t an actual true starbs they do not have all the new drinks but still good for you a coffee. They did have a pool bar area and the drinks were on point when they were open.

Over all it was ok stay , the room door was hard to get into , they had no wash clothes available only the big bath towels and hand towels, the room had mold on the lamp shade lamp , in the bathroom the shower fixture was broken and just sitting in the shower when we arrived couldn’t enjoy the balcony view step on balcony and some people was smoking cigarettes and I hate the smell and hotel said absolutely no smoking but I took video of before and after stay just incase mostly like wouldn’t book again .

My stay was great, only downfall to the room was the refrigerator did not get cold, but it wasn’t worth complaining about, view was great. Everyone is nice and pleasant. Will definitely be back

Gorgeous ocean view

Room was very clean & gorgeous ocean view from the balcony! The front desk staff and maintenance staff were all very friendly! We enjoyed our stay! The only thing that was a pain is the door locks. It requires a 10 digit code to open the door & ours would not open almost the entire stay. Maintenace had to leave us in the room. Parking gargae is pretty tight to navigate as well even for a mid size car.
