Sandy Beach Resort Phase 2, 1-bedroom oceanfront Condo, unit 1108. Two Queen Beds In Bedroom, Murphy Bed in Living Room (Sleeps 6).

A beautiful unit with breathtaking oceanfront views on 11th floor. Spectacular and spacious, Professionally Decorated DELUXE one bedroom/one bathroom oceanfront condo! This resort is one of the newest oceanfront resorts in Myrtle Beach, opening its doors in 2008.

It is only 2 minutes walking to Family Kingdom and half mile to Boardwalk, 3 miles to Broadway.

This unit is located on 11th floor in Sandy Beach Resort. You enter the condo in a hallway which leads to the kitchen. The bedroom is completely separated on the right and has two Queen Beds. The new updated kitchen has granite countertop and is fully equipped with extra appliances, blender, coffee pot and toaster and service for 6 guests. It has a Jacuzzi hot tub in the bathroom.
The designer decorated living room contains a full size sofa, a pull-down murphy bed, a single-size chair, table with four chairs, FLAT SCREEN HD TV plus hi speed wireless internet connection right in the unit. Lots of linen and towels, service for 6 and everything you could want for a great vacation! The linens are replaced annually. The spacious balcony has a table and 2 chairs, is Oceanfront and THE VIEW IS INCREDIBLE! They are perfect for dolphin watching with your morning coffee.

The view was spectacular. The condo was as pictured. The only real issue was the parking. It was right in the center of most things. Very good place to stay if you have teenagers that love the Family Kingdom Park which was 2 minutes away. overall it was a great place to stay. Would definately go back. loved being on the higher Level!!! Frank was awesome to work with. Thank You Frank.

Beautiful view and great beach access but we won’t stay here again

We booked this trip at the last minute and I was thankful to find a place on the water within our budget. Pros: - The view is absolutely stunning. - The beds were comfy. - There are chairs and umbrellas to rent in front of the condo on the beach. Highly recommend doing this for the days you’re there. - The beach access couldn’t be more convienent! - Free coffee in the morning on the 2nd floor of the resort (with was needed bc the coffee maker in the room leaked water everywhere when we tried to make some) - Our youngest daughter loved swimming in the resort’s pools and hot tubs. - The check in and check out process was very easy. - We were there during 4th of July and the boardwalk did an amazing fireworks show over the water. Cons: - The resort itself is kinda gross. Cockroaches all over the place downstairs and even found one on our 11th story balcony one night. Just not the most clean. - This area of Myrtle beach is not the nicest, it’s kinda run down, and a bit scary at night. - The coffee maker didn’t work - The kitchen is absolute bare minimum and some of the pots/pans were not cleaned completely. - A trash bag of linens and supplies were left behind from the cleaning crew and was sitting in the middle of the hallway when we checked in. - The Murphy bed was nice but we had to rearrange the living room to use it and it was gross behind. Overall: Even with the cons…we still had a really nice family trip and loved the beach access/view but we won’t be going back here.

I can't say enough good things about this condo. Everything was exactly as stated in the discription. The condo was very clean, the beds were comfortable-even the murphy bed. There were more than enough towels, pillows, sheets, blankets, ect. They even provide an inflatable mattress, just incase. We honastly didn't utilize the kitchen much but, it did appear there was more than enough to make meals. Check in was easy and we had no issues with check in.The only issue was the area is a little sketchy. But, the condo itself was all but perfect. We would definatly rent from Frank again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo on our first trip to Myrtle Beach!

Great views and close to everything.

Check in was easy. The resort needs to update the fitness area and actually enforce the nonsmoking policy. This is nothing the owner could change. The unit has suitable kitchen facilities and could use some updated equipment. The unit had plenty of stater supplies and a nice coffee set up. It was close to the boardwalk and had great views. Check out was easy and minimal. There were plenty of linens and pillows.

Multiple issues with cleanliness, provided pots and pans were disgusting, the refrigerator was dented, water damage around trim work, patches on drywall, jetted bathtub didn’t work. Disgusting coffee pot. Definitely not newly renovated, old funky smell.

My family and I stayed at this property for 6 nights in May 2022. We had booked the property at the last minute. We were quite disappointed after walking in and seeing the state of the unit. It was clearly not cleaned before our arrival. There were 2 huge disgusting spots in the carpet right in the middle of the living room. The "couch" mentioned in the description was broken. As per communication from the owner, it was also not to be slept on (he provided an air mattress as an alternative, but it's not the same and the listing provided inaccurate information based on which we booked the property). The couch was also covered some sort of padding which had white fuzz all over it. A walkthrough revealed a number of other issues, including: * Broken cabinetries * Broken trash can with no lid * Broken blender canister * Shower head that looked like it was on its last leg The owner was responsive, but he could get a cleaner in only after we had stayed there for over half of our trip. Most of these issues should have been resolved before we arrived any way. On the plus side, the view and location were great. The price was good. But our overall impression of this place is negative. I would spend a few hundred extra dollars and stay at a better place next time.

Amazing views

We had a wonderful time. The room was clean and had plenty of room for everyone. We had 6 total, 3 adults and 3 younger between 9-12 y/o. There are tons of things to do in the resort and it's close to everything. We had an excellent stay would highly recommend!

Please read before booking

I write this review as a warning to those interested in this property. We booked this rental in March 2021. Less than 2 weeks before our arrival, I got an email stating the rental was cancelled without any explanation. I wrote to the owner and someone responded apologizing but did not give any reason. Finally, I was told it was cancelled because the owner decided to rent it for himself for that week. Completely unacceptable. At this point, there were NO rentals available unless we wanted to pay $2,000-$3,000 more since it was July 4th week. After threatening to complain to VRBO and other rental sites, I was told that the owner decided to open it back up for me to rent. Also, I was told it would be at the same rate that I originally paid. The next morning, it was reopened to me but was over $400 more than I paid and was told that the owner wanted "more money" since they paid fees for the cancellation (which was not our fault). The price was not adjusted to reflect my original price. Some things to note about the rental: Beds: False advertisement about a sleeper sofa. They asked us not to use it and had an air mattress available to use instead. Wifi: Resort-supplied general Wifi, so don't expect fast speeds for those looking to do some work. Parking: Lots of spots but they get filled by nighttime, so expect to double-park or drive around waiting for someone to leave. Positives: Great view of the ocean and the 2 queen beds were comfortable and spacious. Towels provided which was nice. Full kitchen with all basic cookware provided.

Frank has a great condo, we were 3 you can easily fit more, the view from the ocean front terrace says it all, coffee at sunrise. Unit is in great shape, I had a few questions, Frank responded very quickly. I would highly recommend.

Literally right on the beach!!

I traveled with my husband and 4 kids (11, 6, 6, and 17 months). We were steps from the beach (quite literally) and the children loved the pools! There is a local restaurant on the corner that delivers to the pool deck as well. The staff was nice and courteous. The beach is gorgeous. The kids loved the Murphy bed. The bedroom is large enough for a pack and play as well. Having a unit with a washer and dryer was a lifesaver as well. We are definitely considering coming back next summer (if not sooner) for our trip. The pools also have towels available to dry off with. None of them were ever really crowded either. And the beach was not packed like it was further down the coast line which was great!

I would highly recommend this place for a family getaway! We had an amazing time! The condo was in great shape, everything was very clean and the view was stunning! Frank was very quick to answer any questions I had, and the front desk clerks were also very helpful! We were able to take my grandfather of 74 years and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Loved everything about it, will definitely be staying there again!!

We had a lovely time vacationing in your condo . I love it's location. It's close to Broardwalk and only about 10 minutes driving to Broardway. It has some very good restaurants in walking distance. The Sandy Beach Resort is pretty new and everything is in very good condition. The condo itself was very clean, neat and spacious. I found everything that I needed to prepare meals, clean laundry and also relax on the beach. We will definitley plan our next vacation to the area at your condo as we have family very close and can't wait for the chance to come back to the beach.
