Sandy Feet Retreat is a 4 bedroom home, with an additional sitting area that we use for a loft-style bedroom, that was designed especially for the family in mind. This home will comfortably sleep 14 people. Before purchasing this home, our family stayed in it for years. We fell in love with the location, the Anglers Villa community it is in and the home itself. This home is new to rental market and hasn't been rented in the past.

The home is situated on the corner lot, facing the marsh in a small community on a cobblestone street. The community is directly across the street from a public access with a very short walk to the beach. The area is very quiet and serene. The views of the marsh from the wrap around porch are amazing. A short golf cart ride away is the hotspot of Garden City, Sam's Corner along with the famous Garden City Pier, Our family loves spending the day on the beach and the evenings at the pier and visiting all the shops on Sam's corner.

We hope you will try our house out and fall in love with it like we did and make this your annual beach trip rental.

U/S Bedroom 1: queen bed, shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom with bedroom 2. This bedroom has a private entrance to the 2nd floor wrap around porch.
U/S Bedroom 2: queen bed, shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom with bedroom 1.
U/S Bedroom 3: 2 queen beds, bathroom with tub/shower combo.
U/S sitting area (Loft): a queen sized bunk bed with a pull out trundle. This area is open but also includes a armoire for extra clothes storage and two chairs for sitting. It also has a tv with a large assortment of children's movies. This upstairs space also has an entrance to the 2nd floor wrap around porch.

Great place for a group!

This house was great. It had so much room, great location, and Vickie was a wonderful host. Really great spot for a group or a couple families. We would absolutely recommend this place!

Great Thanksgiving vacation

Our family of 12 enjoyed our stay here. Very nice home with all the comforts of home. Very clean, quiet and close to everything. The patio doors and screens tended to stick making them a little difficult to open and close but that was not a big deal. We would definitely stay here again.

Great time with family!

Wonderful home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back and stay again! Plenty of room for 6 adults, a teen and two toddlers. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes and about a ten minute drive to all the restaurants we wanted to check out in Murrell’s Inlet!

Great home away from home

Everything was wonderful. Great home. Very well maintained and clean. 2 minute drive to pier for fishing. Several golf courses within a 15 to 20 minute ride or less. Beautiful little neighborhood with a sense of privacy even though you’re very close to everything. Will definitely look to stay here again next year.

Location was perfect, close to beach and quiet neighborhood. Big enough for large family. Loved all the palm trees in yard. Some minor issues we dealt with were patio screen door was off track so couldn’t use, no pizza pan or cutter, grill was broken, carpets had stains on them. Overall had a good time.

Retired police golfers

Perfect for 8 retired cops. Very comfortable, very spacious and clean. Had no problems at all. Vickie responded immediately to any questions we had. We have been doing this golf trip for 5 years and this was by far the best trip. Thank you!

Fantastic!

Sandy Feet Retreat is beautiful and clean! It was exactly what we were looking for! The house was perfectly located, so cozy, and had everything we needed for a wonderful ladies weekend away. Very well stocked with everything! The beds were super comfy. Such a great view of the marsh! Wonderful sitting room area but also a huge table to gather around. Vickie was super responsive as we had a very minor key pad issue checking in, but it was resolved within minutes.

This was our second time staying at the property. It was excellent again. The only issue was that one of the upstairs televisions seemed to be going out. I reached out to Vicky and heard from her promptly. Unfortunately, with it being Christmas weekend, they were not able to rectify the problem while we were there.

Not What we expected!

Overall it wasn’t terrible but it’s definitely not one of our favorite beach trips! The bugs were pretty bad and flying ants. Couldn’t enjoy sitting on the deck. Bunkbed was very shaky and not stable. MB shower had some gooey yellow stuff in tracks, I feel the house can definitely use some upgrading and attention for the money clients are paying.

Winter of 2025

My wife and I stayed at this property for 3 months. The house is excellent. The neighborhood is quiet yet still close to restaurants and many great golf courses. Had lots of company so the house can accommodate a good size group. The owner is extremely attentive and easy to reach and deal with. An all around good experience.

Holiday Stay

My family enjoyed staying at this wonderful property over Christmas week. Conveniently located, the property was clean and comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen for cooking/baking and serving meals. There are also plenty of games/cards available for your enjoyment too!The marsh views were gorgeous and it’s just a short walk to the beach. The home owner was very responsive during the booking and arriving process and we had no issues at all during our stay. Thank you for what will become a wonderful Christmas celebration memory for our family.

Election Day 2024

The house is fantastic. Very comfortable and also very well equipped. The neighborhood is very quiet and convenient to everything. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO units and this is one of the best. Looking forward to our return in January 2025.

October Get Away!

The Sandy Feet Beach house is spacious, comfortable and in a great location! There are dual air/heat controls for each floor, and plenty of drawer and closet space as well. Beds were comfortable and the showers had great pressure. All the expected appliances were there along with many utensils, pots/pans, plates, bowls, coffee cups and other small appliances like a toaster and mixer. There’s plenty of light coming through all the windows and sliders and the view of the marsh on one side of the house can’t be beat! This house is on a side street and there are plenty of places to walk along the back streets (marsh side), plus the beach is about a two minute walk in the opposite direction across the street, which has public access and parking. Plenty of TV’s downstairs and in all rooms. Just FYI...some things need some TLC: the slider doors were heavy to open and the slider door screens on both floors could not be utilized. The outdoor chairs, decking and doors are coated with some mildew and weathering. The closet doors in the upstairs back bedroom (with the two queen beds) was hard to open and the master bedroom closet was very hard to open. All the closets needed more hangers. Vickie was immediately responsive with any questions. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. Beautiful location!
