We loved that this home is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac! We also loved that the kitchen, dining, and living areas are an open area so we could all be talking while one was cooking and others watching TV. The yard is very large and private. A few tips, bring a blender (if you're a smoothie person), the deck is very sunny and there isn't an umbrella for the table on the deck so bring sunscreen, the yard is private/surrounded by woods so bring bug spray. We brought all three so we were all set! The communication with the owner was great! Also, where it is at the end of the cul-de-sac, there was a basketball hoop and plenty of room to shoot hoops which our son loved! We used all three of the upstairs/ main floor bedrooms, the 4th bedroom is downstairs in the game room but it isn't separated from the game room so keep that in mind. We did not need to use this bed as there were only 4 of us. The beds in the two king bedrooms on main floor are very low to the ground (platform beds) so you may want to keep that in mind as well. It wasn't an issue for us. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The plates and bowls are square (breakable) so if you have children you may want to opt for disposable plates/bowls. We did and it also saves on having to use the dishwasher often. The coffee maker is an auto drip and not programable (programming doesn't work) so what we did was to set-up coffee night before and whomever woke up first simply hit the button to brew the coffee. My older son and I walked down to Niantic most of the mornings. Route 156 is busy so we walked down to the set of lights to crossed where there was a sidewalk on the other side. You can walk right over the bridge (there's a sidewalk on the bridge) and have a wonderful ocean water view (about 15 minutes from house). On the other side of the bridge is the town (very quaint must see) which is another 10 minutes from the bridge. There's a bakery on left side with fresh bread made daily. Very fun game room but keep in mind there are a lot of stairs (carpeted) to get down to it or you can access it from the driveway outside as well (which might be easier for young children or elderly or handicapped people). There is a very secure gate at top of stairs (wooden half gate) that is very safe. We had a wonderful time!
