Oyster lovers wanted! One of a kind property with 180 degree waterviews!

You won't find another place like this! Studio By the Sea is a stone's throw from Mystic's main drag and a short drive to the famous Aquarium and Seaport. This isn't your ordinary property, it's also home to a small family owned and operated oyster farm with over 120 acres in the Mystic River. Guests are welcome to jump onboard and check out the farm, The studio sleeps four comfortably with one queen bed and one pull out sleeper sofa. The bedroom area, full kitchen, and cozy seating area all boast exceptional and onubstructed waterviews. The studio also has one full bathroom with gorgeous stone shower with heated seat and floor. Outside you will enjoy a small private beach, and beautiful yard that includes outdoor furniture for lounging and a firepit for s'mores. Perfect get away for romance, adventure and relaxation! Parking is included on site, and if you prefer to come by train, we are a short stroll to the Amtrak station with trains comin in from Boston and New York.

Wonderful retreat!

Th studio was perfect - well appointed and had amazing views. It was wonderful to sit outside and look out into the water and all the lights from the other side. I would absolutely stay there again!

Soothing, calming, local paradise

We had the best time and some much needed R&R. There is no better place to just disconnect and take in the surroundings with the amazing views, incredible sunsets and sunrises, and the best ducks ever (bring watermelon!). Kris and Beth were amazing hosts and we will return soon!!

Wonderful stay in Mystic

We truly enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The views are amazing! The apartment is clean and comfortable. It feels much more spacious than a studio apartment. It was a perfect location for what we wanted to do. I would highly recommend it for a couple.

Very nice play to stay. Views from all the windows were awesome.Lots to do in the area. Family super nice and very hard workers. Dogs and ducks fun to watch and be around. Also enjoyed the firepit. Should have done that more. Will definitely come back if they will have us

Spectacular Seaside Escape 💕

The 180 degree water view is stunning but the tranquility that view in-vibes is priceless. Absolutely loved this experience waterfront view, homey, comfortable and the location and proximity to downtown made this one of the best VRBO stays. Beth and Kris are wonderful host. We look forward to returning soon.

A Fantastic Retreat

The Studio by the Sea is such a fantastic place to stay. You’re walking distance to the bridge and the center of town, yet you have a peaceful escape any time you need it. The fishing is wonderful, and our little boy loved being able to fish right from the yard. Kris, Beth, and their family are amazingly nice and accommodating. We look forward to our next stay!

We didn't want to leave.

We enjoyed our stay in Mystic so much that we didn't want to leave. The location is ideal - very peaceful yet close to so many attractions. The hosts were very welcoming, and we enjoyed visiting with them. And the ducks! So cute. But for us the best part was the view. So very restful. We highly recommend and hope to stay here again some day.

One in a million

This is such a unique place to stay. The view from the apartment is stunning and will take your breath away. The layout of the studio is perfect. The owners, Kris and Beth, are so warm and welcoming. Mom's Bucket List East Coast RT`

After having planned this roadtrip over the past 5 years with my life partner, he passed away April 2024. My daughter had to work in Pennsylvania in July/August and suggested we meet in Washington DC and do the roadtrip together. She did all the driving and we took our time, relaxing, eating fresh seafood, and visiting lighthouses. Bucket list roadtrip satisfied for mom.

Studio Get away

This is a very large studio! It has a full kitchen, gorgeous shower, a very comfortable queen bed that has water views . Actually the whole studio looks out on the water since the whole studio has large windows!!! It is even nicer than the website pictures. The family is super nice! They have ducks that are fun to watch. Although they live upstairs, you have the whole side of the yard to yourself and they are very respectful of your privacy. The property is very close to restaurants and shopping. There is a very nice Big Y grocery store about 10 minutes away. We definitely want to go back!!
