Blue Lagoon Beach Resort

"We loved the resort: the facilities, the food, the activities, and the kind staff. However, this was the most money I have ever paid to stay anywhere considering the cost of the accommodations and the compulsory meal plan, and I was really seeking peace and quiet after a very hard year of teaching. Unfortunately, our beautiful yurt was right next to the construction site of a new building, and there was loud construction noise all day every day. I would have appreciated a little acknowledgment of that. An apology, a free cocktail or something. Additionally, there were two expensive incorrect charges on our bill. I respectfully spoke up about it, and they corrected the error, but I felt like I got dirty looks for asking them to double check our bar receipts to confirm the error. This place already stretched my budget, so I found that a bit disappointing. Check your bill carefully! All that said, we did enjoy our stay and are grateful for the experience."

"A/C in room was a nice wall unit, room was clean, hot tub was full sized outdoors and to temp of your choice with new water if requested, action center was all action and super friendly when guests approached staff. Big BuLA to this resort staff when you arrive . The restaurant was accommodating to food sensitivities when communicated, food and drinks were fresh and variety was sufficient for most and always served with smiles and love."

"Stayed here for 9 nights in the oceanfront bungalow and loved the family atmosphere, the quiet walks on the beach and the beautiful sunsets. This is not a fancy resort but is great value. Beds are comfortable, rooms were simple but clean. There is an excellent reef in front for snorkeling and this is very close to the manta ray migration route. The food is delicious, healthy and very plentiful. You can buy beer and wine at the bar and rent snorkeling gear. We are a retired couple but met lots of young people and families from all over the world."

"This resort is a must if you travel to Fiji. We visited 2 years ago and knew we wanted to return. The staff is our Fiji family. Each individual cottage is so well built and maintained. Manassas and his wife Wati are the original builders and both still stay active at the resort. I encourage travelers to not just stay on the main island, but discover the surrounding islands."

"Unforgettable experience. The villagers were all extremely friendly, the food was plentiful and the view and swimming were spectacular.Be sure to take plenty of cash for add ons (boat rides to other beaches, activities, guides, entertainment, etc).It was great to just sink into "Fiji Time" and relax."
