Newwinds Hideaway is the perfect semi-oceanfront home to have a fun and relaxing OBX vacation. Enjoy your morning coffee, salty breezes, and an awesome sunrise as you start your day sitting on the top-level sun deck. You are just steps away from the community walkway to the beach where you can spend the day swimming, surfing, sunbathing, or just relaxing and listening to the waves. Everyone can gather in the great room for some time together preparing some favorite meals or watching sports or movies. End your day relaxing in the hot tub and stargazing. Pets are family too so bring them along to enjoy this fun vacation.

Two Soundside Parks with Piers and Picnic Areas
The Village Oceanfront Bathhouse - Restrooms, Sun Decks and Oceanfront Gazebo.

Beach Access: Convenient raised walkway to the beach located behind house.

No Smoking/Vaping. Dog Friendly - Dogs allowed for an additional fee. The fireplace is not operational.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.

Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.
