SEA GLASS OCEANFRONT COTTAGE.

Sea Glass is a charming oceanfront beach cottage located at the end of a quiet cul de sac in South Nags Head . . . and the Atlantic Ocean is literally your backyard. The beach starts at the bottom of the stairs :-) Enjoy outside living on the large oceanfront covered porch with a tall table + 4 tall chairs, plus a picnic table. Grab a good book and a glass of wine and enjoy the salty air and shimmering ocean at sunset . . . my favorite time of day :-) Or perhaps a nap in the double sized hammock below is more your speed? Sea Glass cottage features a large open living area with bamboo flooring, lots of natural light, and lovely ocean views. The well equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, fridge with ice maker and filtered water on the door, and an island bar overlooking the adjoining dining and living rooms. Sea Glass accommodates 6 people (4 adults & 2 kids). There is an oceanfront queen, an oceanfront twin bunk room, and a king bedroom with it's own half bath. The shared full bath features a shower with tub should you need one for the kids . . . but trust me, you'll be taking all your showers in the large private, enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water.

Enjoy spectacular shelling, surf fishing, sun bathing, surfing, swimming, kayaking . . . and so much more. Or just stay put and enjoy the peace and quiet, and the sound of the ocean. Your family will remember the memories you make at Sea Glass for generations!

* Please note you must be at least 27 years old to rent this cottage.

* Cottage accommodates up to 4 adults and 2 children.

*Linens are not included, therefore you will need to bring sheets and pillow cases (1 king, 1 queen, and 2 single bunkbeds). All of the beds have quilts and pillows. You will also need to bring bath, hand, wash, dish and beach towels. HOWEVER, if you do not wish to bring your own there are several companies that rent linens and will deliver and pick them up directly to and from the cottage which we can refer you to.

* This is a NON-SMOKING cottage.

* Up to 2 pets are considered. Must be fully house trained. No puppies under a year. Please provide breed, sex and age when requesting to book.

Peace, peace, peace

Beautiful house , right by the ocean. Very quiet neighborhood. It was perfect for us. We enjoyed the Wright Brothers monument but otherwise we just chilled in the house.

PERFECT!

Loved our week in this house right on the beach! All amenities. Pristine beach and wonderful walk/bike path. Close to some great restaurants. Just perfect!

The Perfect Beach Cottage

Super cozy and clean cabin just steps from the ocean. The perfect spot for exploring all of what the Outer Banks offers as it’s pretty much in the middle. We can’t wait to return.

Awesome stay!

Perfect cottage on the beach

As always, our stay was perfect! We stay at this home every summer and it’s been magical to watch our kids make memories here. The home is a perfect location - right in the beach - and always clean and ready for guests.

Outer Banks Honeymoon

Very well maintained ocean front spot!! Perfect for a single family or couple. Perfect location close to restaurants and shops and also an easy ride to the national seashore. Just steps away from the beach! We recommend it highly and hope to return!!

Clean, simple, and well-appointed beachfront cottage

This 3-bedroom cottage is steps from the beach. The interior is very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and open-concept living space. The ideal beachfront location, coupled with the adorably decorated and well-maintained interior provided a pleasant and relaxing setting for our family vacation. We would return next year for sure!

Beautiful cottage

Very comfortable and well equipped cottage. My only suggestion would be for a grab bar in the tub:shower. The trudge over the dune was worthwhile because of the beautiful beach awaiting us! We had a lovely vacation.

Great cottage!

Our trip was rained out during Debby, but it was saved by the beautiful cottage. You can really tell when the owners are directly involved with the maintenance of the property. Everything we could have needed was there with little extra touches to make it a homey stay. The cottage was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed lots of family time at the dining table and great porch time. It was perfect for our family of four.

Another amazing week at Sea Glass!

We really enjoyed our fourth summer vacation week at the Sea Glass Cottage! The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped, as always, and the proximity to the beach is hard to beat. Communication with Kim and Mark was excellent — they made sure everything was perfect and were always just a phone call away. The location 5-6 miles south of the busier commercial area of Nags Head is ideal, with stores easily accessed, but well away from more crowded stretches of beach. We couldn’t ask for more and hope to return next summer!

A Gem

This cottage was perfect for my spring getaway. Everything was spotless and smelled freshly cleaned when we arrived. It was so welcoming to have the ceiling fans on when we arrived. The beaches, sunrises, dolphins, who could ask for more. Truly a gem!! ❤️❤️❤️

The weather was perfect with the sun shining at least part of every day. The home was warm and welcoming and the gift in the fridge was a sweet touch. The dunes kind of hindered a perfect view of the ocean but would not keep us from returning. My only suggestion for improvement would be a strong gate for the puppies.

Spring break in Nags Head

Location location location. Super easy to access the main roads to all the sites and restaurants, and steps from the beach. Private drive keeps the area pretty quiet when enjoying the ocean and sun. Home was comfy and perfect size for my wife and I along with our dog. Stunning views of the ocean, only possible drawback to some is it is a steep climb up over the dune to the beach. But you can walk to the next street to find a more level access. We would return for sure!

3 times and counting

They say 3 times is a charm well each visit has been wonderful and this one had the best weather. We love staying in this cozy house on the beach near to good restaurants and birding sights. It is our 3rd time in it. Great beach for walking and relaxing and watching fishermen and women. They were catching fish! There are lots of other things to do which we didn’t do this time like kayaking and touring historic sights which have done in the past Kim is great to communicate with too. Hope to be back.

My husband and two teens spent a week at Sea Glass Cottage over the 4th of July week. I’ve been coming to the OBX since I’m 16 years old and have stayed in a number of properties. This one ranks right up with some of my favorites! The property was just as described. Kim was quick to respond when I had a few inquiries through the week. The cottage was clean and cozy. It was perfect for our needs this year and would definitely recommend to others. The personalized welcome card was such a lovely touch.
