The house was clean and as described. We were able to get to the beach easily from the house. Our biggest concern was the lack of ANY screens in the windows, and no acknowledgment of this prior to renting. Although it was July, there were some cooler days due to storms and not being able to have windows open with fresh air and the sound of the ocean was extremely disappointing. There is a "house book" that guests can write in. The lack of screens was mentioned over and over again by various guests. While reading it, I thought the writers meant the screened in porch which was missing all of it's screens, but wasn't a problem as it was "outside." Then I went to open windows to get fresh air in the kitchen and realized except for one window over the kitchen sink, there were absolutely no screens in the entire house. This has to be disclosed to potential renters. We probably would have avoided this house if we had known we wouldn't be able to open windows due to lack of screens. Mattresses on the bunk beds were uncomfortable with obvious coils sticking out and need attention. We also found it odd to have signs warning of the cactus in the backyard and the inability to even walk back there. We liked the location, the porch even without the screens, the updated kitchen and bathrooms. Thank you.
