    This tastefully decorated, 3 bedroom/2 bath, oceanside home is the perfect getaway for family, friends or couples! Located on a quiet cul de sac only a 5 minute walk to Bonnett Street Beach access (lifeguarded beach access), the location can't be beat! We manage and clean the home ourselves - you will not find a cleaner rental home! Kitchen recently updated with quartz countertops, marble backsplash + black stainless appliances. Our new outdoor shower is the perfect way to end your day on the beach. We are considered "oceanside" which does not require you to cross a major highway to access the beach.

    Carolina Dreaming is only a block away from the new, 5 acre Dowdy Park! There is a great playground for kids, basketball, bocce ball and pickle ball courts. In the summer, Dowdy has been home to a weekly farmers/artisans market.

    In addition to this great new park - we are within walking distance to Tortuga's Lie, Lucky 12 Tavern, Galaxy Mini Golf, Morningview Coffee Shop, The Spot Ice Cream, Nags Head YMCA, Waveriders Deli and of course, the BEACH!

    Adam and Amanda live in Chesapeake, VA with their 2 young sons. We have always dreamed of owning a beach home and in 2016 our dreams came true! Adam's love of real estate and Amanda's passion for antiquing and interior decorating, make them the perfect duo to manage a vacation rental home. We want our guest to be as comfortable as possible when staying in our home.

Lovely stay

We could tell this home was cared for and loved. Amanda and Adam were responsive and so helpful. The house was so clean and just the right amount of space for our family. We particularly loved the screened porch and walking to The Spot for ice cream and coffee. Highly recommend!

The home was exactly as pictured, clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. My family had a wonderful spring break. The location was convenient, 5 min walk to the beach, less than 10 minutes to the coffee shop, ice cream and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking family meals. Loved little details like white noise machines in every bedroom and children’s books to read to my kid every night. We also really enjoyed having access to the bikes to ride around the neighborhood, especially to the park nearby. We’d absolutely stay again!

Nice place for an OBX getaway

Had a great visit in Nags head at this property! It was our first time in OBX and the location was perfect for us to head north one day and south the next to explore most of the islands.The park nearby was very nice. Lots of activities to do there (basketball, pickleball, horseshoes, etc).Some great food/ice cream within walking distance. Including the beach.House was very clean and had everything we needed. Well thought out in covering all the amenities.Host was an excellent communicator and always available should we need anything. Gave some great recommendations of restaurants and places to see. Would definitely stay again!

Almost perfect

This home is decorated very well and was very clean. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. The laundry room downstairs was clean, spacious and convenient. We had bikes for our whole family and used them every day. The bathrooms and kitchens were clean and comfortable! The hosts have done an exceptional job utilizing the space of this home. Our daughter had a summer class and loved the sunroom for getting work done. It was a sweet space for her for the couple days she had to work. Unfortunately upon entering the home we immediately noticed a very musty smell that did not go away the whole week even after turning on all the cieling fans and airing out the house. Everything we brought home had to be rewashed and aired out including luggage, hats, shoes and books. After reading every review giving this home a perfect review we were surprised by this. I do not believe this is an issue with the cleanliness of this home. It is very clean and very nice. If it were not for the musty smell that followed us home this beach house would be a home run.

Definitely 5 Stars: We stayed at this lovely Nags Head home December 21-24 to kick off winter break from public school teaching in western NC; three of us plus our dog. We liked this house very much and were fortunate to have sunny, warm weather. We found the home to be accurately described in the VRBO ad, comfortable and very clean. The interior decor is impressive with good floor plan. For us the location was very convenient. Everything in the home functioned well, was thoughtfully decorated and well-provisioned for our needs. There was parking space for 2-3 vehicles. Our dog also travels with us. There was outdoor space on the lot and the quiet neighborhood was pleasant for his walks. Just blocks off the beachfront, we also enjoyed pleasant walks to the beach. A few shops were close-by. We drove to buy groceries. Terrific host! Communication with the host was easy. Access and host instructions were clear and readily available. Local area recommendations (restaurants, other) were very helpful! Overall our experience was a wonderful first visit to OBX, meeting all needs. We enjoyed our stay and liked the house very much and will definitely consider this home again whenever our travels bring us back to the area! A happy, comfortable visit! Thank you!

Wonderful stay in Nags Head

Amanda was incredible, reaching out before and during our stay to ensure that we had everything we needed. The house was incredibly clean and had a ton of amenities for families. The location was great - within a short driving distance to restaurants/activities and about a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Perfect family beach getaway

The house was sparkling clean, plenty of space to spread out, and met all of our needs. Loved that the property was shaded and we enjoyed dinners out on the deck.
