"Lovely, comfortable cottage in a great location for a range of activities. Cosy for an October break but would be fantastic in warmer weather too. Our only small criticism was the night time temperature was set at 15 degrees and couldn’t be changed and while there was lots of cosy bedding we had a toddler who still wakes a couple of times in the night so it was a bit cold tending to him. Still a 5⭐️ break."

We spent time downtown shopping and eating at Fig and Thistle and McGregor's (both recommended); enjoyed Culloden Battlefield Museum and House; and airport nearby. Also visited Urquhart Castle; Dornoch Golf Course - both within 1 hour. House had an abundantly stocked kitchen! Rooms were very roomy and comfortable with nice seating areas. I booked this place based on the pictures shown and the espectacular view to the city and the river; however. My apartment didn't have a view and the balcony was not appealing at all.
