Whilst near a road and the train tracks the room was reasonably well sound proofed when the windows were closed and they didn't disturb me. The shower and bed were good, but otherwise the hotel, which had just been taken over by new owners, was in a very battered state. Hopefully, this will change with the much-needed refurbishment.
