The COVID-19 outbreak may have changed how we travel, but it hasn't done away with our desire to explore. Here are a few tips on how to tackle the new challenges of travelling:

• Find out if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before booking your flight. Also check if there are any conditions you'll have to follow on arrival, such as health testing.
• When you go through airport screening, keep your face mask on. You will be required to briefly lower it to verify your identity. Anyone refusing to wear a face mask may face civil penalties and may also be escorted from the building.
• Avoid handing your boarding pass directly to a TSA officer. Rather, you should position the pass on the scanner and then hold it up for the agent to visually inspect it.
• You can now take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your hand luggage. This will need to be taken out for screening.
• To reduce handling during the screening process, put items such as your phone, wallet and keys into your carry-on instead of the bins.
• If you're bringing food on board, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA officer will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for inspection.

As people start travelling again, the majority of airlines have implemented physical distancing and other important measures to help limit the spread of COVID-19. Here are some good examples:

• Air Busan - this airline is known for cleaning with disinfectant and providing passenger masks.
• Korean Air - this airline is known for electrostatic cleaning and cleaning with disinfectant.
• Jin Air - this airline is known for cleaning with disinfectant and conducting passenger temperature checks.
