I didn’t try the local area as there were so many place in the main town. Reception staff were always lovely and welcoming"

"I have stayed here twice and would stay again. Away from busy tourist areas but nice peaceful garden setting with individual cabanas. Across the (moderately busy) street from the beach but was no issue during the low season getting across. "

Laundry can be done on site and you can also hire a scooter without need for deposit or passport which is handy. 300 baht deposit needed for room key on arrival, worth noting. Location is around 10-15 mins walk to lamai beach but lots of food places around. "Bed was nice and clean. Shower was OK at best. Water bottle provided everyday and fresh towels on request. WiFi borderline unusable after 19,probably when the local Russian botnet gets spun up. OK for a few days. "
