Incredible setting on 15 waterfront acres. Perfect house and furnishings set on low cliff overlooking the Salish Sea. Giant windows frame magnificent views of sea and mountains. Abundant wildlife. Kitchen equipped with everything you could want.

Outstanding accommodations truly deserving of the 5 star ratings that you see in these reviews. This is a unique and exquisite property with what has to be some of the most captivating ocean views anywhere. Immaculately clean, private and serene. Kyle is a very generous and gracious host. The property is lovely. The location has the most beautiful views, right on the water and it just allows you to relax. The house itself has a great layout for families and friends who want to spend time together while providing spaces for those who need privacy.

Amazing!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. So much wildlife to see and great paths on the property to explore. We spent morning hours on the deck reading or doing yoga in the sun. After a day of activity the hot tub was divine! We hope one day we will be able to return again, it was one of the best places I have ever stayed at!

We had an amazing time, the place was exactly as pictured. The ocean views are unparalleled. Kyle was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. I highly recommend this place! I hope to be back one day!

Fantastic Amazing Beautiful

I stayed here with my family of five with college age kids for four days in July. The house is beautiful modern and comfortable. The view is hard to describe how beautiful it is. We enjoyed kayaking, hiking the property and eating at local restaurants. The seals and the family of deer that visited daily were an added bonus

Paradise In Nanoose Bay!

If you want peace and quiet! If you enjoy nature, bald eagles, deer with baby fawns, trails to hike, incredible views of the ocean, then this is the rental for you. A stunning home with views out of every window of the ocean! Incredible sunsets! Surrounded by incredible forest, very private. You will love this beautiful home and want to return often!

Absolutely Picturesque Property!

I can’t imagine a more perfect way to experience the Vancouver Island coast... this house has amazing ocean views on 3 sides! We saw wildlife regularly, from otters and seals to deer around the property, even from the perfectly-situated hot tub. It’s easy to explore tide pools at the shore, or walk the trails alomg the coast, too.The house is stocked very well, and has a modern feel with plenty of room... We’ve rented dozens of houses around N America, and this was likely our favorite ever!

Spectacular Scenery All Around, Panoramic

The views from every room were incredible! We saw sea lions, sea otters and eagles! Best place to stay for prime hiking. Able to access trails right outside the back door. We hiked everyday - each trail had unique scenery. The house was fully equipped with cookware. The beds were super comfortable with a variety of pillow options. The only downside was the spotty wi fi connection.

Absolutely beautiful house and location. The view from every room in the house is breath taking. House is very well equipped. Rooms tastefully decorated with a masterpiece in everyone! Wonderful mornings spent spotting Seals, Otters, Herons, and a wide variety of birds including the odd Eagle along with the four Orcas and two deer who appeared the day before we left. Communication with owner and family was very pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend this property.

One of the best locations I have ever been.

My wife and I have travelled fairly extensively. We have stayed at VRBO’s in several different countries and this is likely the nicest, most complete property we have ever had. The interior was well appointed and very high end with superior modern comforts. The location is impossible to beat with the most incredible views. I have absolutely zero negative comments about this place. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. He gave suggestions on how to navigate the ferry and other subtle nuances of travel. Great place and I will be back.

Refreshed Our Souls

This was exactly what our family needed. Very secluded, quiet, peaceful, calm and amazing! The location is unbeatable. Beds were very very comfortable (our group had a few people with back issues) and the kitchen has everything you could possibly want. No one could be disappointed. Saw lots of seals and birds but unfortunately no orcas. I guess that means we just have to come back! Kyle was very quick with his responses but we really didn’t have any issues. Thank you again for sharing this amazing piece of paradise!

Heaven on earth

We spent five days at this home on our round trip tour of Vancouver Island and Whistler. This couldn't have been a more relaxing and enjoyable spot. The house blends in with the nature around it perfectly. Inside, windows abound and there is not a bad view to be had. There are creature comforts like games and puzzles, warm blankets, a toasty fireplace, and binoculars to spot orcas/whales/bald eagles. We had otter friends and deer visit each morning and a seal float by each evening looking for dinner. Great restaurants around the area including the Blackbird Schnitzelhaus in Qualicum. Took a long day trip to Tofino which was a beautiful drive. Planned our whole trip around this one house and have already recommended it to countless others. A 5 star gem!

Beautiful Home and Location - Well worth the splurge

I fell in love with this property from the moment I saw the listing, but it was quite a bit more expensive than we usually spend on accommodations. We decided to splurge and we are so glad we did! The home is everything we hoped for. From the minute the gate opened and we drove onto the property, we knew we were in a special place. We drove through a lovely bit of forest to the house right on the ocean. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished, the kitchen is well stocked, beds and linens are comfortable and the views throughout the house are breathtaking! We were out and about everyday, but looked forward to getting back to the house to watch seals/sea lions swim by and bald eagles soar through the sky. We even had a darling little fawn visit us one morning! Our host Kyle was great at communicating and very available to answer our questions and make suggestions on our adventures and dining out. One thing I wish we had done sooner is explore the beautiful trails throughout the community. We didn't do that until our last day and were astounded by the well maintained and marked trails that led us through forests, along the coastline and through beautiful meadows. Vancouver Island itself is astoundingly beautiful, very accessible and full of friendly Canadians! Highly recommend a visit to this heavenly home!

Beautiful, serene, restorative. Watching rafts of otters and sealions frolic along the property’s coastline, hot tubbing to a vibrant sunset, coffee on the deck at sunrise, sharing meals to incredible views of coastal mountains, and falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves - a wonderful respite and perfect place to reconnect. The views are stunning, the property is very private and expansive, and the host is superb. I hope others enjoy the experience as much as we did!
