"Property was exactly as described, but what made it extra special was the little touches provided by the owners. On arrival, a traditional cream tea and a bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us as well as tea, coffee and a little carton of milk so no need to dash to the shop. "The hotel was great with a fantastic sea view, staff were friendly and helpful. I read the description of the hotel which said parking available (for a fee) but on arrival found it was a nearby council carpark. I took my old soft top car and was disappointed to leave it overnight outside and vulnerable. It would have been helpful if the car park arrangement was clearer "

Great stay in Newquay.

"The hotel location is perfect. On sea front and a few minutes walk into town. The rail station is only minutes away too. The hotel was quiet. My room,small, but everything was there. I was very comfortable in the room. I would certainly choose to stay there again. I had a lovely break and enjoyed Newquay very much."

What a find!

"Such an amazing spot with views over the beach and cove. 10 minutes from Newquay airport makes it so convenient when flying over. Food is excellent, and service standards high. I'm not even cross they forgot our dessert order, which would normally frustrate me and might put some off. Rebooking as soon as I can!"

"Great hotel! All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. There was plenty of breakfast food, full English or a continental option. You could have both and go back for more, self-service. The evening meals were excellent. Compliments to the chef. One, two or three courses at a reasonable fair price. Nicely presented, with quick service. Parking was £8 for 24 hours. The pool isn’t huge but it's okay. Extra towels can be collected from reception. The small gym was a bonus. It has a good selection of exercise machines and weighs. There was evening entertainment in the bar which started at 8.30 and finished at 10.30, (vocalist or entertainers) We read some of the negative reviews and some are really not fair or true. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Newquay. Well done to everyone at the Kilbirnie Hotel. "
