The Folger House on historic Academy Hill, Nantucket

  • Located in-town between the Jared Coffin House and the First Congregational Church on historic Academy Lane, this wonderful home in Nantucket's historic downtown district is now for rent.

    The land was originally purchased by the Folger Family in 1799 when the original house was built. The current house includes a beautifully landscaped yard, off-street parking for one car, six bedrooms with three full baths and two half baths.

    First Floor: Classic center hall colonial home. Living room, large dining room, kitchen, laundry. Bedroom with two twin beds with a full private bath with a classic clawfoot bathtub/shower. Second full bathroom with a shower. Kitchen and dining room opens to the back porch and yard.

    Second Floor: First Master bedroom suite with a king bed and attached half bath, Second Master bedroom with a king bed, bedroom with two twin beds, a bedroom with a single bed. Full hall bathroom with shower/tub. The bathtub is a classic clawfoot tub.

    Third Floor: Large open room with one king bed and one single bed and a half bath.
