Overall, this is a nice property. Rooms are very nice, as is the rest of the property. Staff communication was excellent. Close to downtown. What wasn't great was the breakfast. Food was not great and mostly cold when unwrapping the plastic wrap from the plate, despite being seated when it arrived. English muffin not toasted and plastic wrap caused frittata to get cold, moist and soggy. Another day, french toast casserole was good, but scrambled eggs were cold and heavily salted. We didn't eat there a third day. Also, no coffee maker in rooms, but was available in dining room. Unfortunately, it was not hot either. These are easy fixes that would make this place really great.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Blackbird Inn and Finch House. The location is great for walking into downtown Napa and we loved the free morning breakfast, happy hour, and afternoon cookies! Our room was cleaned daily and was a nice cozy spot to stay in.

Short walk to central downtown Napa, so many dining options, loved walks in the morning to Mulan for coffee and pastry. Staff was kind and accommodating, only complaint is please fix or replace ice machine, it’s very loud and backs up to downstairs room we stayed in

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at Blackbird. The staff was very helpful. There were snacks and other small touches done to make it enjoyable. The location is great. It was a very short walk to many bars/shopping/dinning options by the river. We would stay there again.

We will be back!

The Blackbird Inn was a great place to stay - it was very close to downtown Napa, and it really felt like home. The breakfasts and happy hours were amazing and the home baked goods were a tasty treat! I loved our room with the walkout porch. We can't wait to come back to the Napa Valley area, and when we do we will definitely stay at the Blackbird Inn.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blackbird inn. Room was clean and had an easy to use fireplace. We also loved the patio, which might be a good option to enjoy in summer. Location was perfect, you can basically walk around to visit plenty of tasting rooms, restaurants, river and oxbow market. The only thing missing was number seats during breakfast and we had to wait for other people to finish even though we booked for certain time slot. In one morning we had to take our plates to the room because no seats were available.

The Inn is located on a corner right on a busy street. It is very loud all night. The breakfast is good. The staff is not around. We had to text a number to communicate with whomever.

Comfortable Cozy Inn in the heart of Napa

We stayed on the first floor and had breakfast on our little deck every morning. It was beautiful, sunny, relaxing and the birds were chirping.The breakfasts were amazing. You could choose to eat in the dining room also. Parking on site and check in was easy. We were within about a half hour from Rutherford, St. Helena, Sonoma and all the wineries and restaurants we wanted to visit. The river and walking areas were very close, about a mile I think. The staff was truly amazing, with daily texts to see if we needed anything and fast responses. There was also a wine and cheese happy hour each day at 5pm. Just another great offering at this beautiful b&b. We would stay here again and I highly recommend this inn to everyone who wants to experience the quaintness of downtown Napa with all the comforts of home and closeness to all wineries.

It’s a very nice property and there are plenty of walkable options nearby. My only issue is that it’s next to a busy street so ask for a room on the other side of the building. They provide ear plugs too.
