Convenient location, near places we wanted to see, but neither the TV nor the phone in the room worked, and a previous guest had left old food in the microwave, which was not discovered by the cleaning staff. The room itself was nice and grounds have a really lovely flower garden and grape vines.

Cosy and tidy little rooms even with the sink in the room and noch in the bathroom. The property is designed with a lot of love of the lady boss and is a juwell in the area. And she has a lot of information of the suroundings. No food is served but there is a good bakery/diner in walking distance. Should I ever come back to Napa, I will stay again in Chardonnay Lodge.

The room was clean, the staff was very nice, and the price was decent for Napa Valley. But this was not at all what it looks like in the advertising/profile. The pictures make it look like this is a hotel in a winery. It is not! It is a motel in a rundown area of town. And the rose garden is nothing more than a small little patch of bushes and benches in the parking lot. Very misleading!

The Chardonnay Lodge reminds me of the nice motels my Father chose for our family vacations in the 1940's. My room was very clean, the bed very comfortable with 4 bed pillows so I could choose the one that was similar to mine at home...I also liked the soft sheets and blanket. In the room there was a refrigerator and microwave and every day there were 2 bottles of water. The ice machine outdoors was very convenient. The lovely flower garden with statues and other unique items is definitely a must visit!
