BUY TRAVEL INSURANCE. Napa hotel tax included in the price. Welcome to Chez Sous Le Bois which translates as "House Beneath The Woods", hence Underwood, my surname. I have designed and constructed a new and spa-like space for my special guests. I love to welcome my guests with a glass of premium wine such as Duckhorn, Goldeneye, Goosecross, Bouchaine or Foley Johnson.

It is on the ground floor with the residence is above. My guests are invited to park in the tandem driveway next to the apartment. It features a spacious room with an adjustable king-size bed, 55" LG smart TV with sound bar (lots of cable networks Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Paramount+, Apple +, Max.+. Serene exclusive Patio with Umbrella table. Regular and decaf coffees, assorted teas, and chocolates are offered to my guests. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are dispensed in the shower and extra amenities are stocked in the bathroom. A newly installed EV Charger for my guests to use for their electric cars.

The location is an easy and pleasant walk to downtown restaurants (less than a mile), wine tasting bars and nightclubs. There is a convenient 7/11 Mart at Lincoln and Main. Walkable to Napa nightlife and restaurants. Go to Visit Napa Valley (.com) for an extensive list.

The actual room is lovely-super clean, very comfortable, and has charming decor. Leslie is a delight-so welcoming and friendly and her side kick Zsa-Zsa is the cutest and friendliest dog I have ever met. The walk to downtown is about .8 of a mile on a really pretty street. We appreciated getting the steps in. I cannot wait to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lesley is a wonderful hostess and attended to all the little details. From robes hanging in the closet to all the amenities you would expect in a hotel, it was all there waiting for us. The studio was extremely comfortable and located close to everything. The room is so clean- she really has thought of everything that you need to make it feel like you are home, even though you are in wonderful Napa. Lesley is one of the nicest VRBO hosts I've ever dealt with. She bends over backwards to make her guests feel welcome and cared for. Her studio is impeccably furnished and well-equipped. And the location can't be beat, near the center of Napa. Perfect for a single or a couple. My only complaint is personal, as the bed was a bit soft for my bad back, but not egregiously so. It wouldn't keep me from staying there again.

Lesley and her sweet pup Zsa Zsa greeted us upon arrival to show us around. They were fabulous! Lesley was very communicative and kind. We loved getting to know her over a glass of wine. The apartment was excellent! The bed was comfortable. The quality of everything was wonderful (the towels were especially great!). The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the Napa Valley Wine Train (and thus avoid any potential for a DUI) and the Oxbow Public Market. All in all, this was a phenomenal spot, and we wouldn’t change a thing!

If you’re looking for a lovely, clean and well appointed apartment a few minutes from fantastic restaurants and right off the Napa Valley wine trail, look no further. As other guests have mentioned, we were greeted with a beautiful glass of wine which was the perfect way to kick off our anniversary trip. Lesley was amazing- available for any question we had and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and perfect. Awesome to have access to laundry. Bed and comforter were amazing. Highly recommend!!
