There should never be any complain against them the staff were amazing and whenever i went out or came back i always get greeted and feeled amazing even though there was a bit of language barrier however they were amazing even with our language barrier would definitely come here next time i come back to nara
I was impressed with their politeness and the hotel was fairly clean. Nara is a good place to stay, relatively close to Osaka and Kyoto, but far less crowded. Local nara sights good. You are a short walk from important stations.
There was amazing lady at the check in who went out of her way to help and to make our stay more comfortable

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The hotel has a beautiful waterfall inside and has some unique aspects for a hotel. The hotel is dated but meets the need for a stay. It is out of the way and not as easy to get to using public transportation as we had thought. The staff was kind and helpful.
Staff very helpful, breakfast offers lots of variety at reasonable price. Beautiful room, large and spacious for the 3 sharing the room. Separate toilet/bathroom a bonus. Housekeeping a bit hit and miss with lots of cleaning/fresh linen in hallways.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Quiet, clean and comfortable rooms with efficient and unobtrusive elevators. Well above average attractive restaurant for all three major meals. Responsive concierge services 24/7. Only a couple of the overly numerous front desk staff speak reliable English.
As in all Japanese hotels I have used, very poor TV offerings in English, almost pointless.
I have stayed at this hotel for two to three week stays in three of the past eight years as I have family in Tokyo. Would have been more except for stringent Japanese COVID restrictions. Entirely honest in billing. Fair costs but well above average for travelers with budget worries who should probably stay elsewhere.
This is a very nice hotel if you don't book through Expedia. The lovely features are a very nice front staff, a lovely spa on the B floor, a reasonable breakfast buffet and a short walk to a convenient Kintetsu station. I would say, though, that if you are booking through Expedia or hotels.com or any other such discount service, they will put you in a very inconvenient, unrenovated room and provide no services. My room was the furthest room on the top floor, very cold with heating that worked only intermittently, and no cleaning services. I was OK with all of this, but I think hotels should not participate in Expedia's surge pricing service if they don't give you the same service. Just my thoughts. However, the staff were great and it is a nice place. Fun to go to the bath every night and hang out.
