"I chose this ryokan since it was the only reasonably priced one in the Nara area. It has a beautiful garden just outside our room and the room itself was comfortable and large. The only downside to the place was the strong smell in the room and the cockroach that I had to kill as it crawled across the room."

"The hotel is beautiful and in a gorgeous area of Kyoto. It is walking distance to the shopping area, Monkey Park, and Bamboo forest. The staff was very caring and helpful. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. I loved my stay there and will definitely go back. "
