"The grounds, rooms, food, and amenities at Sibu Lodge were exceptional. The property is beautifully maintained, and overall it was a wonderful place to stay. Service, however, was inconsistent. Our breakfast and lunch servers were very good—Marilynne, in particular, stood out for her warmth and attentiveness. Unfortunately, our dinner experience was quite the opposite. Both Eric and Katherine appeared preoccupied with paperwork, and we were largely ignored throughout the meal. At one point, a fly landed in one of our water glasses. When Katherine eventually came to the table, we informed her. She removed the glass, but despite our request for a replacement and a refill for the table, she did not return for nearly 20 minutes. There was no apology or acknowledgment, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. This was especially disappointing given how much we were otherwise enjoying our stay. With more consistent service, particularly during dinner, the overall experience would have been outstanding."

The views stunning, the room was perfect, the pool and swim up bar such a great amenity. I’d hands down come back to Costa Rica just to stay here again! Best recommendation from a friend. "The food is very fresh and they take great pride in quality ingredients in their food and drinks. Each is a masterpiece both is taste and presentation! The staff are all amazing and the property is very clean, except for the pools which gather leaves from the trees above, but I appreciate it’s impossible to avoid. The tubing and zipline are a must try offered on the property and the guided walk and yoga beautiful experience. The thermal river is unbelievably beautiful and warm like a hot tub and clear to the bottom. You have to experience it to believe it. Lots of walking and steps but all worth it! Nothing but relaxation and beauty at this resort. The rooms are very functional and private and it was amazing seeing monkeys and birds everywhere. I would stay here again!"
